    hahaha that was great. i always found him pretty funny but that was laugh out loud funny.

    i love that he's self aware that he's narcissistic. the whole thing almost seemed to be a self parody.

    Only thing i dislike about As/Is is how he was still singing from his throat, and had his poppy breathy tone vs his Where the Light is gut tone.

    Yeah, his voice has developed for the better over the years, but hearing the live versions of those early tunes makes up for it. Wish he'd bust out a lot more of the pre-Continuum stuff at shows. I love Continuum, but that's the record that really got me to listening to him, so I missed out on hearing some of the Room for Squares (that wasn't on AGT) and Heavier Things tracks live.

    Where the light is is pretty heavily autotuned though. If you listen to bootlegs from that era up to 2010 you can hear how naturally flat he sings sometimes, especially his falsetto. I agree about the breathy vs diaphragm style, very noticeable change from any given thursday to try or the "on his own" sbd
