Caught the first 15 minutes at a mystery movie showing last night before my gf wanted to walk out, so can't really say how it was

But wanted to ask if y'all walk out? I don't much, but I don't feel as bad about it with mystery movies. You roll the dice for $5 and if it's not your thing, eh, you paid $5 to find out what it was

On the other end of the spectrum, I saw American Fiction and Boys in the Boat for $5 as mystery movies, so sometimes you get some good stuff, too

I don't think I've ever walked out on a movie. I'm struggling to think of a movie that made seriously want to consider it, but I also actively avoid watching movies I'm expecting to dislike. I would do a mystery movie if it was convenient and I had a lot of free time though. It's just hard to use my limited free time away from the kids to justify spending it that way though.

I’ve never left a movie theater early, but I’ve definitely turned off movies I rented early. Two biggest offenders I can think of are The Informant and Boondock Saints 2.
