Re: Fringe (tv show)

I really like the show and iwas at a panel that they did at paleyfest (out here in los angeles). they talked a fair amount about the show and behind the scenes stuff but they also seemes fairly confident that they would be renewed for next season.

My friend showed me this last night. It's from the NFL Playoffs, but I think it's awesome the way Fox is promoting this show. Also, it's been officially picked up for another season.

OH man! I'm so excited for tonight. I love how The Observer shows up randomly everywhere. Did anyone catch him during the club scene a couple weeks ago?

Naw I didn't. That would be good to see him just standing in a club. ha ha. Tonight is going to be nuts! I wonder if it is only going to be centered on Bell or if there will be another story that they will have to solve.

I wanna know where Walter went!

I'm missing the ep as we speak! Damn, I just got back, I'll have to watch it later. You know who Bell is right? I'm the most excited to see him in a TV show again.

That's a bummer. The last 10 minutes of the episode is great though...even if you read the spoiler. I've been an occasional viewer of the show, but this episode officially made me a fan.

    Re: Fringe (tv show)

The very first instant we see Walter at the gravestone in the beginning, I called it that it was going to be Peter's. That the one we've been seeing all year was some sort of "copy" (now it being confirmed he's the version from the other universe).

The final reveal was kinda cool, but I must say I'm a bit disappointed about Nimoy. I knew going in he was only in the last scene, but gee, like 2-3 lines, that's it?

Also, wasn't Jones when last we saw him he'd transformed into one of those monsters? He knew he was going to (it was maybe about 6 eps ago), the last bit we saw was he was in that hospital room, and Liv saw how he'd broken out of it, leaving this massive hole in the wall. I'd thought the previous implication was that once he turned into that, he couldn't go "back" to anything close to normal.

Wasn't he human when he was in the hospital, and then when she came back he was gone and there was a hole in the wall.

I don't remember but I will definitely re-watch the season on Blu Ray.

Loved the finale even if it's a little cheesy that the entire season and all the incidents were really just an angry ex employee trying to get back at the guy that fired him.

The newspaper on Bell's desk at the end. Definitely an alternate universe. What a ballsy ending.

That was not the sole reason for the incidents. He was still trying to fulfill the ZFT agenda, Bell was just the goal in this episode. I also think that Bell was not the sole reason he wanted to reach the alternate dimension, there were more than likely other reasons.

The other people who transformed into monsters had not teleported prior, the way Jones had. You could argue that the same effects of teleportation that caused the bullets from Olivia's gun to pass through without damaging him also allowed him to return to human form.

I finally watched the last three episodes the other day. I love Leonard Nemoy as William Bell! I did read that he has signed on for quite a few episodes (I can't remember how many now). So have no fear, we will be seeing more of him.

Season two had started off slow, but boy last weeks episode was probably one of the best ones ever. They told us so much about the upcoming war and about the shapeshifters. Showing us the dialogue with Olivia and Bell was really interesting. I am hoping they keep going with the plot with the shape shifters because I want to learn about their leader at the end when his head reattached. This show should be moved back to Tuesday nights or any other time than 8 on Thurs. It is gettinng slaughtered by the other big time shows out there. Hopefully they do this and don't just cancel the show.

Wow this season just keeps getting better and better. This episode looks like it is going to be a real good one. They need to move the show back to Tuesdays, or just a different time. Fringe is getting slaughtered by the other shows at this time slot like Grey's. I think to keep this show going they need to move it back to Tuesdays. They really should because it is a fantastic show with great actinig.

Yeah this show is one of the best for sure. I don't get why Flash Forward (which I watch) already has 200 posts or whatever when that show is honestly not that good so far. Then there is Fringe which has a great plot and great acting!

Anybody else wonder why Tyler needed to kidnap Peter so he could drive? I mean think about it, surely the kid himself could've handled that, and still fucked with the mind of anyone who got close (until Walter of course solved it).
