After listening to this one, I stand by my opinion from the other thread on this release. I'm here for the So Right:

is this a So right where he wails unnecessarily at the end?

aside: what so right was given away as a free track on twitter a few years ago?

2013.07.19 Cruzan Amphitheater, WPB, FL, was released as a digital download for retweeting about the 2014 summer tour

By the way, it was also theBest Released Version according to Chadizzy poll

The best part about this release is that now we can officially count the days to what should be a monumental LT60 announcement

If the past is any indication, the announcement should come in June, which is close

I haven't listened passed Crush, but man it's not that great. #27 is actually really good. I enjoy Take Me To Tomorrow, but it's not the best performance. Ants Marching and Seek Up, Boyd sounds waaaay out of tune. It's hard to listen to. Is that just me? I mean, I hate to be so critical, but it sounds like a child picked up the violin out a toy box and started playing. Crush is awesome though. He doesn't sound too bad on that tune.

Drunken Soldier? Why does he always sound so frail on the verses on that song?

Setting yourself up for a letdown per typical DMB fan. I'd say 61 will be the release you want. Too high of expectations for LT 60. Or I could see them saying, "after a run of 59 LTs we've decided to take a break. Look out for the nugs releases of all the 2022 shows!"

I’m curious how they chose this show - dart thrown at dart board? Nothing really special or that sticks out immediately. I mean so right is amazing, but otherwise, a set of songs that just doesn’t feel all that different than the Maine show from 2014 they already released….IBYU for example is always awesome, just they already did it on the other 2014 live trax

Not at all. They're picking months that haven't been covered from tours before. So in 2014 we have 6-6 (LT 52) and 8-23 (LT 32). Now we're getting a July show. If you look back at the previous releases, they're doing the same thing. It's as good a system as any if they are focused on more equal representation from tours several years back.

Selection from which show in July is debatable on this forum (obviously) but there's what I've noticed since I put them all in chrono order and noticed that is what is happening.

The exception will be the inevitable 2021/2022 release by the end of the year. That will be 62. 60 and 61 will be (either order) a pre-2000 show (58 was 2000) and a 2002-2013 show (59 is 2014, we just had a 2001). We're pretty well covered for most of those 2002-2013 years (2008, 2010) so we're likely to get a month not covered and a venue they honor or rarely picked.

I'm not against picking a two night stand show that has already been represented and doing the other show. Just not every single one.

Also, since I was there, I wouldn't mind this release. They haven't released an Irvine show and they've played there at least a dozen times.

    Let's try this.

I searched Tour Central for 2003. We have Live Trax 26 from July 30, and The Central Park Concert from Sept 24. If we get another show from 2003, they'll pick August or June. After that, they look at venues and see a set they like (and everybody on here seems to usually disagree with HAHA) and pick it.

2007: We have Live Trax 9 from March, Dave and Tim Radio City from April, Live Trax 10 from May, Live Trax 51 from August, Piedmont Park and LT 42 from September. We're not getting a 2007 for a while. And if/when we do, it will be June/July.

2014: LT 52 from June, now we have 59 from July, LT 32 from August. That explains the LT59 choice (plus venues the fans tend to like).

At least lately, when they pick a show more than 2 years old, they seem to me to be filing in gaps by choosing a tour month not represented in the series or live release yet. At least that or a massive coincidence.

Finally someone might have connected the dots to explain why we get what is a seemingly random event in management selecting shows for the LT treatment.

I think that's overthinking it. We have 4 LT releases from 2000. 2 are June, 2 are August. Nothing from the other months.

We also have two LTs from August '95, two from June '96, two from July '04, two from June '08, and two from June '13. So I don't think RLM is going out of their way to represent different months from these tours.

Personally, I don't care that two LTs came from June '08, I'm of the position we should get more of that month if RLM thinks we need more '08 LTs.

There's tooooons of incredible underrated shows that don't get the love they deserve. Foxboro N2 2000 for example. Excellent setlists with incredible Boyd solos. Or Gorge 1998. Perhaps the greatest main set closing run in the band's history. Or even Hershey 2000. Wow, what a great show with an excellent Two Step.

Agreed. Probably 100 + awesome shows out there, and another 100 just a little shy of awesome.

Gorge 1998 -2006, minus what we have. Red Rocks 1997,98
    Some stadium shows from 1999

    2002 is not well represented

Yes, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Even if it did, why 2014 and THAT month right now.

Re: Live Trax Vol. 59: 7.16.14 - MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre

It's shocking to me that they've only released 1 Live Trax with Buddy, and that was about 14 Live Trax's ago.

If they take anything into account, it's probably that 38.9% of Live Trax have been from 1990-1999, 40.7% from 2000-2009, and 20% from 2010-2019. I'd guess the next LT should be out in July, unless they pull a 2018 and release two at the same time in September or so.

If you look at release trends (since LT 22 because that's when the first 2010's release was released):

    -A 90's era release followed a 90's era release 6 times
    -A 90's era release followed a 00's era release 2 times
    -A 90's era release followed a 10's era release 6 times
    -A 00's era release followed a 90's era release 6 times
    -A 00's era release followed a 00's era release 5 times
    -A 00's era release followed a 10's era release 1 time
    -A 10's era release followed a 90's era release 2 times
    -A 10's era release followed a 00's era release 6 times
    -A 10's era release followed a 10's era release 4 times

LT59 was a 10's era, so there's a 55% chance that the next LT will be from the 1990s era and a 36% chance it's from the 2010's, but is unlikely to be from the 2000s. It could also be a 2021. Of those released in July or August, 44% are from the 90s, 33% from the 2000s, and 22% from the 2010s.

Breaking that down further, Q1 (January to March) Live Trax releases are 67% likely to be from the 2000s, Q2 (April-June) are 47% likely to be from the 90s, Q3 (July to September) is 43.8% likely to be from the 2000s, and Q4 (October to December) is almost an even split [36 (1990s)/ 36 (2000s)/ 27 (2010s)].

So, I'd say its at least statistically pretty likely LT60 is from the 90s. Any highly sought after 90's shows?

Once I had fun collecting all the most wanted LTs for decades.
    See here for chart:
    https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/8212361/

From the 90’s the two most wanted were:
    1998.12.07 Worcester, MA
    1998.12.03 MSG

I would say loads still. Red Rocks 1998, Another winter 98 show would be welcomed, Gorge 98, We're a little light on 1997 and 1999 at the moment. Something from 1994 would be awesome though.

This is my top desire for an LT. They have to have something from ‘94 outside of the 11.8 show that we have half of. I know we got that D&T show, which is amazing, but I’m talking DMB ‘94
