ESPN is garbage because most cable TV is garbage, need to appeal to the lowest common denominator. don't think it has anything to do with "progressivism".

This is where I get lost. Why do Catholics wear their religion like it's their racial identity? Something they were 'born as'. It's a religion. Move on with your life and find god in something else. Another, more tolerant religion if that's what you're looking for

Of course it is. Being a fan of a politician is super weird. They aren't entertainers or sports teams. They all deserve to be critically looked upon by everyone. When elections come along, voters should look at what their values and policy positions are and make an informed decision on do they support them enough to vote for them. Being a fan of one is utterly bizarre and ridiculous behavior.

yeah it was. I never watched it, only read what others said about it.

Bomani can be exhausting, but there's no denying he's pretty intelligent. I enjoy his podcast.

Yeah, I'm honestly just trying to understand... it really only seems to be with Catholics too. Any other religion that I'm familiar with, if they went once a year and also hated it, wouldn't call themselves 'insert religion' anymore.

My mom is a Jehova's Witness. I grew up practicing that religion... probably went to 'church' (they don't call it that) more times than most Catholics do in their entire life. I don't call myself a 'Jehova's Witness' anymore b/c I don't practice the religion.

Looks more like the one you posted (from Feb 2nd-3rd) more of an outlier on the % and rank because the undecideds broke late. Here was Biden's standing in Suffolk polls leading to the Feb 11th election:

Jan 15th-10th: 14.8% (2nd Place, but 23% undecided)
Feb 2nd-3rd: 17.8% (2nd Place, 12% undecided)
Feb 3rd-4th: 15.0% (3rd Place, 13% undecided)
Feb 4th-5th: 12.0% (3rd Place, 14% undecided)
Feb 5th-6th: 10.6% (4th Place, 11% undecided)
Feb 6th-7th: 10.6% (4th Place, 7% undecided)
Feb 7th-8th: 10.4% (4th Place, 12% undecided)

Actual result: 8.4% (5th Place)

So I'd argue that, even just looking at Suffolk polling (and I'd always recommend looking at aggregates) that they were pretty damn close with Biden. 2% error from 3 days out in a race when 8 candidates received at least 3% of the vote? That's pretty good.

And, in aggregate, RCP nailed the race.

It's inertia, culture and family lineage.

I don't consider myself a practicing Lutheran but I consider myself a cultural one if that makes sense. They are my people.

It's like moving, you still consider yourself from where you grew up but you maybe haven't lived there in decades and aren't the same person(and I don't mean that in the way that would get gocubs to post).
