I dunno about the entire summer, but the past 2-3 weeks here have been REALLY dry. The data backs it up too. From Aug 1-16, the state has only gotten 28% of its average monthly rainfall, which is about half of what it should be. If I'm reading the rainfall for the past 12 months correctly too, it looks like that's at about 83% of the cumulative average too. So it's been a relatively dry past year too.

It seems like it's hotter too. So not only are we getting less rain lately, but the ground dries out way quicker. I don't remember having to ever put my sprinklers on in August, but I've had to run them two separate weeks in the past month.
