recently got into Eagle Reserve, it's pretty good. decent bite, but not too much. a little caramel aftertaste along with some nutty flavor. best served straight, no ice (it doesn't taste as good cold)

Same here, really enjoy Tullamore Dew. I picked up bottle of 12 yr. Tullamore and 15 yr. Glenlivet for a bachelor party a couple weekends ago. The Tullamore Dew was nearly finished but no one had the heart to open the Glenlivet - there was plenty of other stuff to drink.

Wow, I had resisted trying Jack Daniels Silver Select for a few years now due to price and availability but I broke down and bought a bottle a few weeks ago in Honduras. Wow, it is very good - has supplanted my Elijah Craig as a sipping whiskey. Cracked it last night. I may have to find some way to keep this stuff coming in. No idea why they would make a whiskey this good and only market it for export. If you want an aged but full flavored, small batch, 100 proof bourbon give this a crack. You can get them for around $150 for a 750ml on the net or find a duty free shop and get them from anywhere between $50 and $75 USD.

Elijiah Craig is my favorite mid range Bourbon, the price is comparable with Makers Mark or Know Creak, aka only slightly higher than Jack Daniels regular #7. It is very good, well worth a try.

I used to drink Evan Williams all of the time in college. It was like 11 bucks for a bottle. I tried drinking it a couple of weeks ago after drinking Jack for the better part of a year, and it didn't really sit well with me. Definitely a cheap alternative, though.

Just poured myself a glass of Makers.

Was out at the bar the other week after work and a coworker bought me a glass of Macallan 12 Sherry Oak. That was so good, really enjoyed it.
