It's tough for people with limited time off to commit to something that early when you don't know what will happen over the next 11 months. I have a trip planned for February, but I definitely would not make the same commitment for Dave and Tim. DMB in Mexico would probably be a different story.

With you on D&T vs. DMB - I'd probably interested in a little winter getaway if it was full band.

Some people only get two weeks of vacation per year and I won’t use it that early in the year unless I have to.

We were going to try and go to D&T in Mexico, but the only stuff left is out of our price range (which was realistically too high to begin with).

Now we're looking at a family trip to CA to coincide with the Irvine shows, but have idealized late spring dates in Italy that we know will NOT be happening in 2022. This is based around the idea of another family trip to Europe for our oldest graduating HS.

At least we know SPAC it locked in.

Yeah, if it was DMB there would have been no hesitation. We'd have likely gone already gone at least once if it were the whole band...not that we have the disposable income to justify such such an extravagance.

3 days D&T at an expensive hotel vs DMB at the Gorge for 3 days.

Gorge wins in my book - I think Gorge would be a cheaper option, full band is personally preferred, and not locked into certain places to stay at high prices.

Also flying out and back to CNY in February with the winter storms is another added complication.

But that's just me.

I was inside the venue this weekend for Trey. All the concessions are new buildings like it says a few posts up. That VIP area is near where the medical tent is. There were some people up there but not really, the sightlines might not be horrible but it is pretty far back on the lawn as well. The horseshoe concession area is no more, it seemed like a lot more open space in that area with a small covered pavillion directly in the center.

I haven't been there yet but the way I understand it the new building takes the place of the concessions area at the top of the lawn so nothing was really added on just replaced.

That's my take on it to. However I believe there was a new pavilion and more bathrooms added.
