Definitely one of my favorite venues. I've seen DMB there 8 times, Grateful Dead twice and countless other bands over the last 19 years.

Hoping to include Shoreline this year along with Alpine. Never been to the Bay Area, is Shoreline accessible by public transit. Apologies as I haven't really looked into it.

If you fly in to San Francisco you can take Caltrain to Mountain View. Plenty of hotels near the venue and plenty of cabs to take you weer you need to go. If you plan on staying a couple day's I would recommend renting a car and exploring San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Capitola.

Hello Shoreline. Sadly I won't be going this year. But it was my home venue for 15 years before moving up to Portland. I've collected some information, some links, and a contact list for Shoreline and put them on my website at http://toupstown.com/CA_Mountain_View.php.

I can add or make changes at any time. If y'all come up with a tailgating plan or something I can add that info as well. It's meant to be used as a helpful resource.

Just a heads up there is no tailgating at Shoreline. People try every year but the cops are out in full force.

Thanks for the information. Will probably stay a few days after and try to get up to Russian River and see the sights. Appreciate the help.

My wife and I are going. Probably our only (DMB) show this year. Wish we could do the Gorge again, but just not in the cards this year. but, there is always next year (probably).

Just noticed that we're the last stop again this year. I really wish they'd do one or two more shows in the middle of California.

Shoreline doesnt have a Pit. The seats arent removable, or at least they havent removed them for the past couple of Pit years. But... Section 202 and the WH lawn section have the best sound in the whole place.

Ditto on wanting more shows in NorCal. I like going to Marysville. Went to Chula Vista, Irvine and Shoreline last year, not doing it again, though. I could have sworn there was a standing section in front at Shoreline. I guess I'll have to try for pit somewhere next year instead. Maaaan. Thanks for the response.

Me too.. So excited...really can't believe they're doing Tahoe..was bummed that there were no Sacramento shows( again!), but this is even better IMO.
