Holy shit...we just started listening to the new show a little while ago.

I don't really have any interest in hearing DDtW again live, but if it's the 3rd tune after those two opened the show...I'll take that opening trio at ANY show. The the 4th tune! And now we're on the 5th tune...holy SHIT! The rest of the set could just be ED and SU tunes and I'd be OK w/ it. And yes, I KNOW this show predates the release of SU and most of those tunes. Now the 6th tune...crazy good show so far.

Enjoying not doing a deep dive into setlists for decades...all of these shows are surprises and I'm very happy for it.

I have thought of making this new thread about stories like that, with everyone sharing those kind of stories or the on-the-road adventures to go to a DMB show. The idea is to re-live the sensation of freedom we all need in these days.

Great show...I’m from Saratoga as well. That was a great weekend and luckily was in the first 5 rows for both shows!

"Joy Ride" is a weird one, for sure, but that video reminds me more of my experience listening to "Smooth Rider" from last week's show. Five minutes of pure, nonstop cringe.

I liked this week's show pretty well. The setlist and music performances were fantastic. The only thing that held it back a little bit for me is that Dave's vocals were pretty reserved and almost listless at times. I know performers can't get hyped for every show, so I'm not complaining or anything. But listening to it without watching it, it just seemed like Dave's mind or energy or something might have been somewhere else.

Still grateful to get to listen, though.

Haven't been able to catch the entire show yet..but just wow. This and the 96 Dave and Tim release are the best treats from this band in a long time...

Really great set and after listening I can see why they chose it be an XM release and not a live trax... I love it, but with so many unfinished lyrics on all the songs maybe they just didn't quite deem it Live Trax worthy...

I happen to love hearing the songs getting fleshed out though... The process that Dave used to do to get lyrics and stories in kind of stream of consciousness in front of 20000 people is pretty ballsy.. It's amazing where a song like joyride had nothing going for it lyrically in this show, to being fan rarity favorite all these years later with much clearer lyrics... This is one of the last shows where Dave is formulating these new songs.. You can tell how much he worked on them between this show and the Hershey show a few days later... Like he went to the bus with a notepad after this show and must have written down real words...

I don't see him doing this process ever again. He now feels too obligated to have a more polished performance... Likely due to the raise in ticket prices over the last few years... The shows are much more polished in 18/19 than they ever were in previous band history... I miss 2000 shows were he was coming up with lyrics for Grey Street on the spot... Though I don't want 4-5 songs in a show like that... I do love 1-2 not finished ideas where the band is taking on a big risk playing it in front of people... It just creates excitement.

This is an all around gem of a show and glad it's out for our listening enjoyment now.

Wow, maybe we'll get a copy of that 3.8.19 show without Ari talking over it. No hate to Ari, but it is wildly annoying to listen to that show with him interrupting

They’ve done a solid job representing 04 through the years.

Spac, LT50, LT43, LT8, golden gate park. All those shows basically represent what was so amazing about that summer. Just need maybe gorge n3, and woodlands n2

I use Permute to convert FLAC to ALACs for iTunes.

I use an app named “All to MP3”.
The problem is that, if you google that, there are at least 5 app like that for Mac, all from different developers.
