Awful news. Lots for him for being a public person, which could not be easy in his fight.

This was heart breaking when I saw this today. My heart goes out to his family. He seemed like an amazing person, I wish I could've had the privilege of meeting him. RIP Sam. You will be missed by all of us. I'll always think of him when I hear kit kat jam

No is "spreading hate", simply stating an opinion and honesty and integrity is more important that hurting someone's feelings
So If you have hurt feelings that I personally hate the pats then I am sorry but I am not going to sugar coat it for you.
As I said hats off to Kraft and what HE has done

Re: Dave and Sam- Help Cure Progeria

I watched the HBO Documentary over the weekend On Demand and I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up a good bit of the film. Sam was such an inspiration, and I can honestly say that I have definitely been taking too much for granted in my life. Everyone should watch this 1.5 hour film and step back and be thankful for what you have, or don't have for that matter.

I had never heard of Progeria until I saw this documentary. To go such a short life with such a great and positive outlook is incredible. One part I thought was fitting, was when they were at Hartford and his dad asked to put his arms around him during Two Step... so sad, but this kid lived a happier life than many of us probably ever will.

    RIP

I just finished watching Life According to Sam on HBOGo. What an inspiring and positive kid, dealing with such a difficult disease. So sad he's no longer with us.

It's inspiring, but at the same time it makes me a little angry, ya know. Why do decent folks, or anybody get handed stuff like this? I'll never know. Salute, Sam.
