Would have preferred they released Polaris instead to get the first Grey Street and others. Mostly because I was there but also there have been enough Live Trax Deer Creek releases.

Those Polaris shows might've been Boyd's worst all time shows

Also… a bonus disc of 2000 would have rocked - so many intriguing tracks and debuts.

This Raven is INCREDIBLE - probably the best version outside the unmatched performances from September '00.

This was my second DMB show and I have always hoped they would eventually release something from that weekend. It was an excellent 3 show run at Deer Creek. I am very excited for this and not just because I was there. This was an extremely memorable show.

Any word on if the vinyl release was mastered for vinyl or if it will have the same mastering as the CD?

Guess we’re memory-holing those Polaris shows

    Someone alert the almanac

Instant purchase.....I can't think of a better 8 song opening run. Maybe Alpine N1 2004. Need this vinyl for sure, regardless of the cover not being from 2000.

Unfortunately, you’re probably right based on the LT vinyl releases last year. If it’s the same mastering on both, I’ll just buy the CD. Otherwise would absolutely buy the vinyl release.

The earlier LT vinyl releases (LT 1-5 and maybe 35) were all remastered for vinyl.

With this being a vinyl release, it has to have been in the works for a while.

Welp, another LT announcement - another edition of Bearclaw Bitches about DMB Management:

Why the fuck do they act like we're still in the 90s or mid 2000s. Just announce it and have it ready to go. Why the waiting period. It's just lame.

I think this place would get flooded with complaints if it was a '21 show. Selections from legendary years don't generate much buzz in these threads.

No, but if it is like LT1-5, or 35, it will have been. LT6 and 7 were not.

Depends on mastering. LT3 on vinyl is probably the best sounding LT release via any format to my ears.

At least 4-6 months from order to release date for what I expect is a few thousand copy run.

The videos were actually from N2 or N3, I forget which one. N1 was the better sounding night for Boyd but still shaky.

He was out of tune in lots of those June shows

I think it's interesting they sometimes have multiple mixed mastered shows in a queue ready to be released at any given time they announce these.

    Looking at DMBAlmanac notes.

It says Dave played Crash Into Me on a 12-string. Is this something common for that tour/era? Don't feel like I've seen that before
