Fitted satin sheet and down comforter. I have to sleep covered up so in the summer, the AC is up so I am cold enough to cover up. Fuck two sheets, especially when using satin sheets. You slide half way down the bed from the silky smoothness with both sheets.

I'm amazed at how many of you go straight blanket/comforter etc. I would sweat out the bed all night. The sheet keeps me from being exposed to the elements while not being suffocated.

Course I have and use them, though admittedly they often end up bunched up at the foot of the bed because my comforter is warm enough.

I too hate hotel bad making. Please god spare me all those pillows I have no use for and for gods sake why do you have to make and tuck the bed so damn tight I need a combat knife to actually get into it?

yes, of course. i also usually throw my half of the comforter on my wife's side, since she's always cold and i usually overheat.

cuddling is the worst. unless it's with a dog that can beat you in a wrestling match

the top sheet is like the DH of bedding. some people like it but it's superfluous

Feather mattress topper
Mattress cover
Fitted Sheet
Top Sheet
Fleece blanket
Comforter

I don't sleep on my sheets, I keep the fleece blanket tucked in snug like a sheet and sleep on top of that, only under my comforter.

Sleeping on top of the fleece blanket is the best. Then using a smaller blanket to sleep under provides the best comfort soft to warmth ratio. Comforters are basically useless besides aesthetic appeal when the fleece is folded up.

I sleep under a blanket, a fleece over it, and a comforter on top. If it gets too warm, I throw the comforter on the ground.
