It's gotta be some kind of Spider-Verse. I hope we see the other Tobey and Andrew.

I trust Feige, so if he says Foxx is back, Foxx is back.

Since we know she’s in the Multiverse of Madness, I’m assuming she does something in the show to make it easy for people to crossover.

The DC thing is weird timing, but this looks like it’s been the plan for a while. Multiverse first mentioned in Doctor Strange, then shown in Endgame. We now know Doctor Strange 2 and Spider-Man will deal with the multiverse. WandaVision, Loki, and What If? are multiverse shows.

I hope we get cool shit from Flashpoint and the Marvel multiverse. I also don’t want everything to become a cameo-fest multiverse story.

As someone who followers Marvel scoopers, I’d say DanielRPK is reliable. If this is true I hope they can lock it down. I want Deadpool 3 sooner than later.

RUMOR: Marvel Rumored to Want Ryan Reynolds to Sign Record Deal
    Quote:
Scooper DanielRPK has just revealed on his Patreon account that Marvel CCO Kevin Feige is interested in wanting to sign Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds to the biggest deal in MCU history. By "biggest," it's presumed that Feige wants Reynolds to agree to be in more MCU projects than any other actor in the franchise has signed onto before.

I'm 100% okay with that. My one concern is overusing him like Marvel has done with the comics and toy lines but Feige is trustworthy with his discretion.

I don't know how much I like them leaning this hard into the multiverse but if the only way to keep Tom Holland in the MCU is to allow Sony to run their little side show then do what you gotta do and the multiverse is the best option for making it work.

The theaters will still be there. The current companies might not be, but someone will buy up the buildings and reopen them once the industry picks back up.

Yeah the industries aren't going away. The companies maybe but movie theaters will still be a thing. Like hawk said, someone is going to scoop in and buy the facilities and reopen them if they close.

As much as I hate to say it, but the same thing with concert halls. May be a longer road but a lot of these venues closing are going to be bought by investors to reopen or create a new venue.

I do think that if current firms close/go under, and someone else steps in to buy the facilities - we're going to see a wave of capital investment and reconstruction + re-imagining of the movie-going experience.

Yeah, like a shift towards a more quality experience for each customer as opposed to cramming as many people as possible into uncomfortable, shitty seats. There’s no reason that in 2020, all first run theaters don’t have reclining seats.

Spider-Man 3 just keeps getting crazier. Might as well just say screw it and give us a Spideypool team up in this movie.

Benedict Cumberbatch Joins ‘Spider-Man 3’ as Doctor Strange (Exclusive)
    Quote:
The good and strange doctor has been caught in the spider’s web.

Benedict Cumberbatch is putting on the cloak of levitation and will reprise Marvel supernatural hero Doctor Strange for the latest Spider-Man movie installment, starring Tom Holland and being made by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.

The move puts Cumberbatch in the mentor role that was previously occupied by Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark/Iron Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and by Samuel L. Jackson in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the latter reprising Nick Fury. The role gives Holland a chance to play opposite seasoned actors, gives Peter Parker a father figure and gives the movies extra star power while also tying them to the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I'm hoping we can get things under control. I'm not sure theater chains could handle most of 2021 slate getting wiped out.

Strange is going to be in Spider-Man 3. Sam Raimi is directing Doctor Strange 2 and he’s the director of the original Sony Spidey trilogy. Doctor Strange will show us multiverse versions of MCU characters. Who better to do it?

Minor news: Shang-Chi wrapped filming recently, and Tom Holland has shared on Instagram he’s filming Spidey 3 already.

    Major news:

‘Moon Night’: Oscar Isaac Tapped To Star In Marvel And Disney+ Series
    Quote:
BREAKING: With his time in the Star Wars franchise coming to an end, Oscar Isaac now sets his sights on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadline is hearing he is in negotiations to star as Moon Night in the Marvel and Disney+ series based on the comic book hero.

Jeremy Slater, who developed and wrote Netflix’s comic book adaptation of the Umbrella Academy series, has been tapped to develop and lead the writing team on the series for the streamer.

Moon Knight aka Marc Spector, is a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, the character was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.

Marvel and Disney+ will now look to attach a director to the series. No production start date has been set. Marvel had no comment.

It makes sense with JK Simmons reprising J. Jonah Jameson in the end credits to Far From Home. He likely came to the current universe already know Peter Parker was Spider-Man and spilled the beans to cause trouble. Perhaps he's a major antagonist.

At least we have a date! 2021 & '22 could be pretty stacked with MCU content. Would be A-ok with it since we've been deprived this year.

I wonder if they had to do any sort of jiggering with some of the release dates changing. It was originally Black Widow, Cap and Winter Soldier, and then Wandavision, I wonder if there were any dependencies Wandavision previously had on the other two that required them to rework anything, or if they were fairly interchangeable.

With Black Widow taking place before Infinity War, it shouldn't have any direct impact on WandaVision. However, with WandaVision leading to Dr. Strange 2, I'd imagine they needed to get it out before that.

Probably more about Disney wanting to avoid lulls in new content. Mandalorian ends Friday Dec 18th, and Soul premieres Dec 25th. WandaVision was rumored at 9 episodes. So a mid Jan premiere will carry premium content into March.

Widow allegedly sets up Falcon & WS, hence why WV needed to go first. I’m hoping we get Falcon during the summer. We also know Loki has ties to Doctor Strange 2. Maybe that could come out this fall/winter.
