Are you more anxious for album news or touring news?

Tour, just because I do not have much faith with the band in the studio, until I hear something that really wows me I probably won't be excited for a new album.

It's tough to tell because right now I am extremely anxious about the tour because I know the announcement is right around the corner. And, there's much more to plan with the tour, so that brings it's own set of anxiety even after the announcement. Once we hear about the news of a release for album, that's that. With tour news, there comes planning and budgeting and time off from work - all of which causes anxiety.

So, I am more anxious about the tour news.
I am more excited about the album news.

album news for sure. As previously mentioned I am sure there will be a tour of some sort this year

Tour definitely. After not seeing them last year as the caravan dates did not work out for us, my wife and I are really looking forward to the tour. And with kids, we need to plan ahead. I might need to switch my work schedule. I need to make sure my parents are available, etc.

Definitely excited for new music and the album but , for now, the tour dates are highly anticipated.

You dont need to take time off work, find babysitting, save hundreds of dollars up just because a new album drops.

Album.It seems as though those with kids want tour news for a babysitter. Personally, I'm without one and anticipate tour info announcements soon. Studio/album news is much more open ended so I feel as tho an answer would be much more surprising.

I just know from expierience it gets sketchy when you have the family situation to work around. For example I have my daughters bday on the 5th of july....I used to work in my famillies business and could take off whenever i wanted, now its not that easy. And yeah, the babysitting situation isnt always fun either. Grandparents arnt always as involved in grandchildrens lives as they should be.

Then of course the things WE ALL have to deal with....the $$$$$

Album. I love their tours no matter what. Albums have been up and down and am anxious to hear the new album.

tough question.

I'm more anxious for tour info so I can start planning my road trips and creating a budget for it.

The album will cost me $15 when it comes out so while I'm excited for it, I'm more excited to see how many shows are feasible for me to attend.

But if we got either info next I'd be happy.

Album; we know the summer tour is inevitably coming, but the album is still quite unknown.

eh, kind of even, but i'll give the slight edge towards tour news.

when tour news drops i'll be able to start planning dates and getting plans going with friends/family which i always enjoy. when the album news comes out it'll be exciting to see what lillywhite and the band have done together, but there's really not much i can do with that until the album is released.

Tour - venues and dates are not always the same, hence the need to make plans.

High anticipation of album news inevitably leads to disappointment anyway.

Nope. My son's b-day is 3/14 and I have twin daughters who were just born 11/7. And my mom's a teacher so she would love the opportunity to hangout with her grandkids during the summer when she can. Lucked out in both those regards.

To further explain. If the next album was good I might hit a show or two during it's supporting tour, if it sucks then I don't think i'll be going to any shows during its tour. I'm not suggesting the summer tour will be in support of it, I'm simply saying the first tour after it's release.

As many have said, tour. I need to figure out what days I'm taking off from work, travel plans, etc. If and when an album comes out, all I have to do is buy it.

TOUR!!!! I'm having withdrawals.... plus I don't anticipate the album coming out anytime soon, so right now album news is like a blow job without the finish.
