Today was sunny, breezy and 63 degrees. Absolutely perfect. Pants and golf shirt weather.

We had a frost delay yesterday and teed off about an hour late. Very chilly morning, but warmed up nicely. Another 86, 43/43. Thinking about 9 on Thursday afternoon, 18 on Friday and 18 on Sunday. We'll see if it works out.

Payne’s Valley looked great on TV. My brother lived and worked in Springfield for years and I never realized how beautiful the area was. The town itself is a flat shit hole.

Cannot wait to figure out our schedule and get out there soon.

The draw is slowly coming around at the range, which feels nice. Still not confident enough to commit to it on the course but that will take time. Next lesson on Friday, which I am excited for.

Holed out from 117 yards out yesterday for a 2 on a Par 4. One bounce and in, felt like a Pro. I love my AW so much I'm seriously considering leaving it in my bag even after I get my new set.

I've been really sick the last couple days (kidney stones, not Covid related) and haven't been doing anything on golf but the travel restrictions just changed for going back and forth to Maine. Going up next weekend to my family's place and playing one of my favorite courses that Monday, absolute beast of a course. I've been out of Massachusetts for two hours this year, really excited to get away.

Not a fan of music on the course but it seems like a losing battle at this point. So while waiting on the 6th tee for the slow group in front of us to get finished the hole, the group behind us pulls up to the 5th green and their music is loud. I don't really care but who plays Twisted Sister on the golf course?? Why would you want to be out on the course like "We're not gonna take it!" SMH

My iron swing is really tight. I’d have no problem showing it to people.

We found 6 things moving on my driver swing that don’t move on my iron swing from trying to kill it. The weirdest thing is my eyes and head move from the ball to the club and back to the ball on the backswing which really limits my ability to rotate.

I feel like we found a little 3/4 iron swing cut that was working at the end. It’s so dry and hard here it should work at the trip this weekend.
