Anyone listening to the podcast with Christopher and Bobby? Apparently they're going to go through every episode?

I forced myself get through the first 3-4, and I couldn't do it anymore. I found it to be a chore to listen to. Steve Shurripa is awful.

    Best show ever.

Whenever I last posted in here was the last time I did a re-watch. Wasn't long ago. Maybe a few years. What blew me away on that re-watch was Christopher and Tony's relationship at the end. Christopher is my favorite TV character of all time but he had to die. It had to happen.

Whitecaps scene popped up in my recommendations tonight. So so good. Easily amongst the best acted scenes in all of television history.

    Lady Gaga?

But yes, the pool house fight scene is probably my favorite scene in the entire series and that whole ep may be as well.

On S4E7 on my first watch thru.

Question for those more seasoned. Was Carmine or someone wearing a wire much earlier in the show and it never got shown again or should I be watching closer?

Lmao. I have no idea how that happened. Probably was in the trending section of YouTube (which I frequent) and I copied it accidentally.

In the middle of a full rewatch right now. Just finished the Pine Barrens episode. So so good. On a side note, it's incredible how many chances Jackie Jr. has had and how he does not learn his lesson.

First watch? Wow. Wish I could do that again. Here is a list of all the "rats" from the series...although you may not want to click if you have not finished watching it in full. Carmine is not on the list though.

I think you are confusing Carmine for Raymond. They look somewhat similar.

Yes, Raymond. It really does not come up much that he’s an informant. At least not yet.

On the Talking Sopranos podcast Steve Schirripa (Bobby) said he’s pretty superstitious. He said he listens to Dave Matthews because it brings him luck.
It’s a pretty decent podcast. I’ve learned a few things I never knew about the show.

Eh, it’s ok. It’s deep, I’ll give it that. It’s a fucking chore to get through though, and I’m a fucking SUCKER for anything having to do with this universe. Imperioli goes a bit too far when he goes on his tangents about “the business”. I just wish the shows were a bit shorter and more lean.

This is going to be weird, but wow...

Just finished the series for the first time. This entire time (since the finale originally aired).. I thought I knew basically what the ending was, and it wasn't even anything close to that. Like, where the hell did I see Tony chasing a car outside his house and having the car blow up with him by it? This is so fucking weird. Like why did I think that was the ending?

So I'm sitting here waiting for them to go back to their house after the restaurant scene and then BAM, black screen. Only me.

I suppose the real ending is better than my made-up-in-my-own-mind ending.

Just out of curiosity what was your favorite season? Or even a some of your favorite episodes? I find it interesting to hear someone’s opinion who just watched for the first time.

I think I posted episodes on here that stood out while I was going thru the series. One season doesn't stand out too much over the other five, but I liked the second half of the series more than the first.
