There was a photo and/or short promo clip for some event w/ Alagia in the studio w/ Dave and the somewhat infamous whiteboard behind them though, right? That wasn’t just my imagination, right?

Hope we get all of them. Whenever they do release it I hope they give us a "live" companion of each song especially if the tour won't be happening. A video and audio file of them playing each song together in a studio or on a stage would be awesome. Similar to this. Even if it was not YouTube and was strictly available as part of a bundle purchase.

I'd rather get the new album first and not have to wait for them to get a chance to perform them all live.

I very much doubt that they would.

Which is actually a step up from what I would have said a few months ago before the Dave & Carter set.

I would hope not, only because the songs rarely find their legs until a year or so after they join the setlist.

I hope they do something similar to Little Red Bird with it. A limited edition bonus of studio material.

I've heard that a band member has not heard about the status of the album since recording it in october. Also has not heard about the status of a tour.

Jeff did an interview on some sports radio/podcast. When asked about the new album, he dodged and said he hadn't heard anything.

I hope we get some info soon, usually this is the week where they announce stuff like tour dates / new album

I've been thinking the same thing. This week would be on par with normal years but I'm getting more anxious the longer we go without hearing anything and knowing even the band members may not be in the loop that we may be in for a longer wait for any info on the tour/album.

this is just classic DMB. I don’t know why anyone continues to get their hopes up with this band - abandoned album sessions, questionable Live Trax and Drive In releases... all par for the course these days. I hate being so pessimistic, but we’ve seen this show so many times now.

Hope they finally do surprise us this time.

Something like that would be cool too. I'd love for any video and/or audio from the band with the new songs in a different format that than the base studio album. IIRC the Revivalists song I shared was part of a series of videos they released periodically in the build up to the album release. That would be cool too. A great way to keep fans engaged and hype up the album.

That was the first T Swift song I've heard since Blank Space maybe. It was surprisingly, to me at least, quite good, and so much different that what I thought she was. Is that whole album like that?

Why would you not want it? Who cares if the songs have their legs yet. Seeing new content of the boys playing together and giving us a live twist on the new songs we may not get to hear live for a while would be really cool.

I don't know, 3/5 last Live Trax releases were 96/98/04 years which are fantastic years for the band. They might not be the exact show from those years people are clamoring for, granted. But this year has seen Dave do several solo sets from his home, a WH exclusive session with Carter and Dave, and Live Trax 6 & 7 released on vinyl.

They did a damn good job in 2020 in my opinion
