Crazy to think that with Jimmie retiring, Kyle Busch is now the only active driver with multiple championships. There are legacies to be made.

Chase is the only driver yesterday that brought the perfect combination of talent, car, and crew. So that team definitely earned that victory. Brad's crew let him down, Logano couldn't keep the car balanced to compete on long runs, and Denny just brought no speed. Kind of wild to see those 4 drivers run up front all day with the exception of Blaney and KB occasionally cracking the Top 5. Sad to see the season go, but there is a lot to look forward to in 2021 with the change in schedule and shake-up in drivers. As Clay said, aside from KB, we have no other multi-time champs, so a lot of room for others to make a name for themselves. The biggest disappointment is Covid delaying the next-gen car as I think the change in drivers and schedule lined up well with the update in car.

Happy for Chase...really cool moment when he and JJ crossed paths before Elliott did his victory burnouts...a subtle little passing of the torch. Johnson is pure class. The sport will miss him for sure

But I'll warn you, I finished 20th in the world on there last year.

In contrast, I offer there was the one year I started Jr. the first ten races in a row then didn't have him for the other 3 plate races later in the year, two of which he won and the other he finished like second or third.

Saw an interesting interview with Tony Stewart yesterday through NBC, he doesn't seem to be too happy with NASCAR (no surprises there.) Sounds like he pursued Larson pretty hard, but couldn't get any one to help back him financially due to Larson's slur. He also said he pulled Eldora from the trucks rather than NASCAR leaving it off the schedule, because they refused to give him an Xfinity or Cup race there and instead gave it to Bristol. The last little tidbit he gave was that he supposedly has reached out to NASCAR about his eligibility to compete in the Clash and was given the cold shoulder.

Awesome finish, even if it resulted in my favorite driver getting dumped by my second favorite driver.

Blaney is my 500 pick though, and I didn't like the odds of him winning it and the Clash.

That Clash was awesome, I was a little hesitant about the road course as it was pretty boring last year during the Cup race, but damn if it didn't deliver big in a 35 lap shoot-out. So many different strategies and bold moves.

I'll stick with my boy Logano for the 500, but I could really see Denny getting his third.

Tyler Reddick is my sleeper pick for the season as a whole, I loved his last couple of seasons in Xfinity and he has shown he is a hell of a driver. Reminds me a lot of Larson, maybe with a little more aggression.

I'm still open to fantasy NASCAR if the numbers are there in people interested.

I'm leaning towards setting up a Driver Group Game league rather than doing one on Fantasy Live. With Fantasy Live, you can switch your drivers before the end of the second stage so it really benefits those who watch races and stay on the ball. Driver Group Game allows people to set their lineup earlier in the week and just forget about it if they want.

I'd like to see at least 5 people involved to make it worthwhile

For those who've played the Driver Group Game in the past, please note that there aren't bench drivers anymore. There's no need for them since most races won't have practice/qualifying again this season. Even for the races with qualifying, there will be no bonus points awarded.

It's just 1 A Driver, 2 B Drivers, and 1 C Driver. Lineups lock just before race time.

He's a good driver. Will be interesting to see how he does with Hendrick hardware. He raced in a dirt track race down near here during his time off.

These races will always be the Twin 125s to me.

Bubba is going to be interesting this season. I know plate tracks are a tough indicator, but his ride is fast in general, even with out pushes. I could definitely see that team being similar to Furniture Row. I don't think Denny would allow for his team to be mediocre and I imagine they have decent funding with MJ and all of their sponsorship money.

Bubba and Almirola are definitely the favorites for me on Sunday. Unfortunately, it's a track where anything can happen.

I don't think i've been so pissed off at a race since Martinsville 2015. Bristol 1 last year was a tough loss, but for it to be his own teammate, jeez. That's just plate racing though. McDowell is one of those guys that has been there almost every year, so good for him!
