Get out of my head... I was just coming to clarify. The FAQ thread is more for general questions and answers and the Bovanza thread is to get to know one another.

    Here you go.

    http://antsmarching.org/forum/showth...1#post16537391

this thread was created for questions and answers to not get lost in the chit chat and planning etc. The link above is where we chat and goof off and share plans and contact info.

You could also maybe put a post in the ticketing thread as that will get you a bit more visibility as well.

just cause i'm bored.. anyone mind running down a list of all the food truck options on the campgrounds?

our crew is planning on living off them so just curious. I remember the Gorge FAQ just had a couple things mentioned, wondering if vets had a full list. Also recommendations of better trucks, menu items etc

The food trucks have been different the two years I went

The first year I remember the Codfather (fish and chips), some excellent grilled cheese, gyros, pizza, and a few others

Seemed like there were less last year- gyros, pizza, crepes?

Few questions for you gorge veterans ....

    1. If I bring a camper that runs on propane (one that Hooks on to a car) is there only specific places I can camp?

    2. Can you guys give me the difference between premier gold terrace wild horse etc?

    Thanks

The FAQ in the first post of this thread (and in a lot of people's signatures) has a rundown on the differences between the camping options.

Here's a link to that specific section:

For what it's worth... Most of the camping Except general is sold out at this point.

A WIldhorse would be very hard to find (and an RV one even more difficult).....

Just a heads up since it sounds like you are comparing camping options.

You may be able to find a gold or premier pass. Some people have premier passes up for trade.

Nope I totally get that...just trying to see what the difference is before I offer trades and what not.

Wildhorse only allows RVs/5th wheels etc in select spots and they are very hard to come by. They are very particular about their wonderful, wonderful grass and have reinforced the rv spots. You could email them and ask if a camper can park in a regular car spot.

For general camping can you drive in/out of the campground during the day? If we need to restock on food/beer/other essentials could we make trips out and still get back to our site?

    Thanks!

Yes you can, but know that 90 east will be down to one lane at Vantage and has caused some pretty big delays which means going to Ellensburg could be problematic. If you had to get supplies your best bet would be Quincy, but most of us buy what we need in advance cuz camp roots grow deep.

I would buy everything you think you'll need before you get out there. If you need something they will likely sell it at the general store (at an inflated price, but still convenient) or a neighbor may have it.

You won't want to leave once you're at camp.

Just plan on buying ice onsite as well... its expensive ($5/bag) but well worth not having to leave each day.

    Hello All,

I asked this in another thread but this is probably the appropriate one....... does anyone have experience sitting in the first row of the 200 Sections?

The seats front the walkway so I'm wondering what it's like when the band is on. It's pretty crazy before and after with all of the people walking past.

Does security try to keep the walkway clear, can we stand at the rail at the back of the 100 Sections?

Only thing I've read is that every drunk in the joint asks for directions and perhaps the seats should be classified as obstructed view.

The last time I sat in reserved 2 years ago we had the front row of the 200 section. There was no rail behind the 100 section at that time and to my knowledge I don't think there is one there now? Security does what they can to keep people from standing in front of the seats but the flow was pretty constant whether the band was on stage or not.

Thank you for the reply, Becky!

Come to think of it, you're right about the lack of rail behind the 100's.

We met a couple last year attending their first Gorge show and they had 200's, row 1. When I asked the next night how they enjoyed the show, they didn't have too much good to say about their seats! Fortunately their N2 seats were better.

I've had seats in various spots all over the venue but never right on the walkway. Hoping for the best!

    Cheers, Fraser

Like everywhere else? Not sure what that means. It is like the pit at Alpine, yes.

The pit is general admission. No sections or seats. It's a free for all. The earlier you get in line, the better spot you will get.

The Cave B website has a whole section on the hiking trails behind their property. But I'm also assuming if you drive away, you keep your spot at the campground?
