Dancing Nancies LT3

Sorry if this has been done, but the seach function wasn't working for me. I have never been a really huge fan of this song. Based on the new setlist ranking system it'd be a 0, or maybe a +1 on a day I'm feeling generous, but today I heard the version from LT3 for the first time in a while and I was really loving it. What other some other good versions?

Red Rocks has always been my favorite. I just don't think I've ever heard a version that matches that intensity. Central Park is close a close second. I just don't like newer versions very much. The horns get too involved at the end and it takes away from Boyd's solo.

IMO this is the single best thing RR brings to the band. He and Jeff craft these great end of song/jam lines that help cover some of the weaker playing that happens when all you hear is BT for an extended period.

The most complete Nancies, imo, is Central Park.

The RR95 Nancies is on crack, way too sped up for me.

Central Park, RR95, LT48 (just the way he sings on this one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qno04UVSEwc, Live in New York (just bc of the power it has), LT 5... actually you can't go wrong with most versions of the song

LT3 Nancies never gets old. Boyd's playing is clean as hell and I love what you hear from Fonz in the outro. Such a great version.

I think Boyd gets a little too weird at the end with the high pitched playing, but it’s a very good version.
