Really excited to hear this based on some of the chatter in the other thread.

Would have been niiiiiice to see a filler disc or bonus disc given my consistent greed, but I'll bite

Agreed - I'm all about the bonus discs for pre-ordering shows. I feel like we haven't had one in quite a while now

Hollywood Bowl '18 was last year's Christmas release and that went over well with this fanbase despite being packaged nicely with additional option for a CD. This is completely fine.

I've been expecting this show to be announced as part of the LiveTrax series for several years now and still... nothing. I'm curious if you feel the same about this particular show. I have never heard another show so raw and full of young, youthful DMB energy. Not to say that their more recent shows suck, I just feel like it was more of a chase back then, if you know what I mean. If you don't know the story of this bootleg it was one I picked up (before internet trading) at a local vinyl store illegally for I think something like 30 bucks. I know... Anyway, it's official bootleg name was "Caash" and it always stuck out the most because it was ripped from a radio rebroadcast or something like that so the sound was optimal at the time for bootlegs. I'm not even sure if the full show exsists as a bootleg, because the bootleg I have doesn't have all the songs on it. If you haven't heard this show, I suggest you find it immediately or message me for it. Let's make this a LiveTrax.

Finally, user GroogruxKing was pleased (six years later).

I bought the “Caash” bootleg as well, back when all we had in terms of official live releases was “Live at Red Rocks.” This was at the point where my love of the band was turning into a full-on obsession, and I listened to this CD nonstop for months. It’s still one of my favorite shows of all time - like you said, there’s some sort of energy to it that’s hard to describe. I’ve never found a show that comes close. Two Step and LIOG are two of my highlights. Can’t wait to hear a mixed and mastered version of this!

Awesome!!! So excited for an official release of this whole show! I mentioned this a couple days ago in the "I Know, I Know..." thread when smulhern19 called it out (you nailed the pick again, great job!); I had this bootleg back in the day before I found out about the trading community and not to purchase bootlegs. Played the heck out of this disk the first year or two I had it. The #41 in particular is pretty stellar from what I remember. Super high energy show and should make for a fun LT! Cool pick! Will definitely purchase.

So after the holiday release, they usually take a few months off before picking up again. Maybe they will pick back up earlier with an announcement for 55 in January with a release is February.

I loaded my copy up and listened to it this afternoon, and there is certainly room for improvement in the mix. I had planned on not buying but after listening earlier today I’ll get it for sure

Yasss, I signed in on my phone to say this is such a top shelf release. I bought a portion of the show when i was a teenager in high school...i know i know. bootlegs blah blah blah.

I come from a cautious “let’s see” approach with live trax, instant buy today and the first in a few late releases. this was an amazing show with high energy for the time period.

    Details
By the Fall of 1996, Dave Matthews Band’s album Crash had gone multiplatinum and the band had toured most of the globe, with no signs of slowing down. This complete and remixed night at the Cow Palace, previously only available from an FM radio broadcast, captures the band doing what they do so well and showcases the best selection of tunes from that era from Recently to previously unreleased Jimi Thing, Minarets, Typical Situation and Dancing Nancies.

    For sale now
This is an awesome selection. Definitely a must get. Yes there is a decent radio recording of this already but this should sound way better.

Band was on fire and includes some really unique performances....
