Weird that they're remastering the DMBLive release but didn't remaster Luther...and I have no issue with Luther because the source material was perfect for vinyl and I'd said that 2 years before it came out. The Academy show is also perfect, the difference being Luther was multitracked and the Academy show doesn't have multis...so your source is limited to the archive of the board mix.

It's a very surprising product description, neither in a good way nor a bad way, just surprising.

I don't think we'll know one way or the other the answers to your questions until someone has them in hand and updates Discogs based on liner notes.

So I'm not sure where to post this, but this thread is getting some play... Apologies if this is out of line.

I've been wanting to get into vinyl for a while now. This release may just be the catalyst that makes it happen. I'm been looking at U Turn, but this popped up on CL today:

Seems like a reasonable deal (assuming I can get the wife to sign off, or at the very least forgive me). Thoughts on this setup for a beginner? I probably won't order any vinyl until the system is in place.

A ton of Davespeak. It's a fantastic show, and this is a great release. If they cut out the Davespeak, I'd purchase. Probably will just stick to the DMB Acoustic show release.

This show needs to include the Davspeak. It's really a big part of the entertainment.

There are small edits in previous vinyl releases that no-one seemed to pick up on, but entire Davespeak would surely be a different story.
