yeah the gambler in me will just sit back and watch Dallas’s pace with their new coach over the next week

two of the top 10 slowest teams last year so only take the over if you think Dallas will play faster with Kidd or you think both teams will knock down their shots. i’m hesitant bc i think Dallas will change their shot selection up too, less threes and less Doncic

I thought that RJ brought up a great point on the broadcast last night in crunch time for Phoenix - why were they pushing the pace so hard only down 9? Slow it down with CP3 directing traffic and run some plays to get open looks from your shooters or Ayton down low bodying up Jokic. They kept pushing the pace and giving Denver quick transitions. Do they intend to play quicker this year?

Not sure, I assume it was just to mount a comeback, but maybe. Denver was in a drop coverage on pnr and I didn’t catch how Phoenix was unable to take advantage other than just going cold

It was such a long rotation I think they were just messing around, tbh. I think this will naturally lead to a bump in pace. But who knows, maybe they change it up for the Lakers
