Anyone with tickets to N1 worried about the setlist quality disparity between N1 and N2s this tour?

I was at the 11/13/2010 MSG show. The energy in that place was unreal. #41-Say Goodbye opener. My ears were ringing after Crush the crowd was so loud singing along. Great memories for sure, and if you are on the fence about going you need to go!

What’s the pit like at these shows? Is it remotely worth the preposterous amount of money it will likely take to get in there? I’ll be in 110 Friday night, and I’m willing to go big Saturday since this will likely be my only MSG DMB experience. I’m not gonna be standing in line for rail or anything- I’ll be with a friend who’s never been to NYC (and I’ve only ever been for about 36 hours myself) and we have too much other stuff to see, so we would likely roll in around 6 and end up in the back of the pit, which is totally fine with me normally… but if I’m spending like, a down payment on a mid-range used car for 2 tix.. is it worth it?? I welcome your opinions in response to this incredibly subjective question with no correct answers ��

I’m a big believer that there really aren’t bad seats or sounds in the Garden. I was in the last row of the top tier for 12/21/02 and had an awesome time. Easily one of the most memorable DMB shows I’ve attended. Sure the closer you are in theory the better the sounds or visuals but I would never spend that kind of money just to stand in the back of the pit. It wouldn’t add much to the experience. But that is just the opinion of one old guy. Others might feel differently.

So adding this now that Durant is done. Already took care of flight and hotel, looking for tickets, can anyone tell me if you have a clear view of the stage from sections 115 or 109? I realize it's side stage, but in most of the pics online it looks like side stage is open in msg, yet the tickets are listed as obstructed view. Not sure if this just references that you're watching from the side, can anyone confirm this? Appreciate the help

really not looking to miss a tour closer at MSG.

It will also be my first trip to NYC. Staying at the New Yorker. Seeing Phantom of the Opera on Fri, Dave on Sat. Eating at Joes Pizza for a slice for sure. But any other food recommendations would be great. Nothing fancy or expensive please, we are trying to eat cheap! Thanks in advance.

Penn station is literally under MSG it’s pretty sweet. I’ve done the regular Northeast Regional which is the same route, takes about 4 hours but it doesn’t feel like it cause you’re not driving. If you spring for the Acela it takes about a half hour less and your accommodations will be a bit more comfy.

No Tix yet, trying to stay patient on drops/private sales
