The irony for me is I really wanted to do the Atlanta show also because I'm flying out of Atlanta to go to West Palm Beach on Thursday but could not get the time off work all those days. Looking forward to seeing you all at West Palm Beach though!

So I've had 1 great experience in the wpb pit and one awful. The one good one was a night 1 where we arrived at the warehouse tent and drew a number for the hell of it and ended up being railed. Wasn't even looking to do that but it was very cool, we had a good group of people around us.

The other was a night 2 where we casually strolled in about 45 minutes before showtime. Tried to position ourselves in the back. The pit ended up being so much oversold and packed it was just awful. Sweaty bros, nuts to butt pushing, shoving spilling beers. People were dicks to my wife when she tried to go to the bathroom and get back to me. Just sucked completely and killed the whole vibe. Hopefully it's better this year though.

The lots in Tampa will be pretty low key. Not a ton of tailgating because of the weekday and many people save it for wpb weekend.

Someone posted on WH that the band cancelled their hotel in Tampa, electing to fly in right before. Not sure what it means for the shows, but with Florida being a Covid hotspot, those three shows may very well be moved.

Do they even get a hotel for Tampa? They’ve been doing a show the night prior to Wednesday since the early 2010s. And I’m pretty sure they’re always straight to WPB when the Tampa show wraps.

This exactly. They never stick around in Tampa, its straight to WPB. Always nice when someone comes in and posts speculative comments about cancelling/moving dates with no real information other than WH stuff. Cool.

lol relax guys... yes, the band usually flies right into Tampa after the Atlanta show and arrives around 1am... then leaves for the venue around 5pm. This is what they did in 2019 sans Dave as he elected to stay on the bus with family. They had planned to do the same thing this year but cancelled their group block yesterday due to the increase in COVID cases in Florida... they are still planning on completing all 3 shows to my knowledge, just minimizing their time in FL.

Thanks, interested to see how they handle Palm Beach. Breakers can easily keep them away from everyone there.

Unless they'd like to use the pool or the beach, of course. Remember someone live streaming Dave and his family trying to enjoy the beach a few years ago? Oof.

I would personally find it hilarious if the Breakers shut down the adult pool and made it exclusive for the band. Would make for some potentially top tier melts.

This is my line of thinking as well. Nothing has changed covid wise down here in the last couple of weeks that should make them say hey we need to have a last minute cancellation. Its been a shit show for 3 weeks now. With that said I will be holding my breath until friday at 745.

Seems like the band will give Florida the quick "get in and get the f**k out" treatment. Can't blame them.
