Really an odd post imo. No grace or accountability at all. They basically knew they had people in their entourage with criminal records that might not be able to cross the border, but because it wasn't a problem in the past they figured they'd chance it, and when that didn't work out this time they decided to cancel the show. What happened to the show must go on?
Normally, bands just blame cancellations on logistical issues and leave it at that... their post just comes off as a veiled attempt to play the victim and gaslight their fans instead of owning up to their decision not to play for them, due wholly or in part to their own poor planning/management.
All that said, it would be a great excuse for DMB to cancel their 10% sold show.
