Spoon solo opener!! I had just gotten to my seat with an ice cold beer and damn near dropped it when I heard the Spoon strumming.

You are correct. I was on rail and Spoon was my #1 chase song. That entire Florida run was made for me as soon as he hit the first few notes. My buddy grabbed a setlist for me that night. One of my favorite shows ever, I think that was the year most agreed Tampa was a better overall show than either night in West Palm.

FYI, the line to get through security can get really long sometimes. I wouldn't wait til last minute to head in from the parking lot.

There is a second, smaller gate around by where the buses park. If you get to the main gate and it's crazy it's probably worth walking around to the smaller gate.

Can anyone help me out with directions to the VIP lot? Will be driving from Wesley Chapel area and trying to figure out the best way to get to Orient Road.

Orient connects to Sligh Ave. So take 75 to Sligh, Sligh to Orient, and the VIP entrance will be on the left after you cross under I4. It's basically down the road from the Hardrock. Super easy to find.

In addition to the usual traffic around I-275 & I-4, watch out for possible traffic around downtown for the Smashing Pumpkins show too. Could impact post-show traffic too.

I always cringe and laugh a bit thinking about lightning hitting the pavilion during the Wailers’ opening set in ‘07. The wind and rain laughed at the “roof” and soaked us to the core- lawn and reserved seating alike. Good times.

more humid than usual, slightly cooler than usual if its overcast, most rain seems to be small quick moving storms
