Okay Howard fans, in case you missed them bringing this up on Friday's show....
Hope that CBS's afternoon game runs late today (in my market it's Denver at KC), because the network has 2 different version of "60 Minutes" ready to go tonight: one shorter, one longer. So if the football game runs later than expected, CBS actually wants to eat up the remaining hour of when it does, then fill in the entire next hour (I
think being a 7-something to 8pm, then from 8 to 9). If this is the case, the 60 Minutes segment on Howard will run a good 15 minutes or so long. If the game ends "on time" and the show is just the typical length, the Howard piece they have is edited to only be about 7 minutes long.
This all came from the 60 Minutes female producer they had on the phone, I forget her name right now. They also did joke though that Artie has the power (via his gambling) to affect the game in certain ways so that it'll be sure to end up running long
Though Howard was pretty nervous on how the segment would represent him, they did play a clip that they got a hold of and it actually impressed him, so now he's sorta hoping they do get to air the extended version.
