You sound like a regular already. Be ready for an older crowd and everybody drinks like a fish.

Jungle just announced a full blown tour with US dates starting in early Oct.

If you've never heard of Jungle, they are worth checking out:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8c9jlRkEdM (older live performance)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-lWzQd_xeQ (Their new single, pretty solid)

I don't think I'll be able to get any of my friends to attend, but I bought a ticket to Roo anyway. Haven't decided on solo-roo camping or GA yet. Looked at the lineup again and decided the hell with my boring friends if they don't wanna go. I'm not missing Foo at the Farm. I've never seen them and what a better venue than the What stage? Tame on Saturday is also a huuge draw for me.

I'm wondering what's gonna happen to all the shows I paid money for last year that are never gonna happen or be rescheduled

Betcha TicketMaster turns that into a credit rather than a refund

Dunno about the smaller venues/promoters. In their cases, I'd rather they keep the $15 or whatever since they're probably hurting after the past year

TicketMaster can burn, though, fuck them

Nice! you won't regret it. I went in 2013 and 2014 and would love to get back there some day.

I'm flying solo. I've been doing solo shows for 12 years now. I gave up on missing shows I wanna see because I couldn't find someone to go with me. Best decision I ever made.

What day did you register to arrive? I went with Wednesday.

TM was prompt in returning all my money for cancelled shows last year. I was amazed.

They offered 150% in credit if you let them keep your money, but obviously I didn't take them up on that, as I knew I'd never be able to redeem it on anything worth seeing.

I've got a Thursday to Sunday GA pass. Don't know if Solo-Roo camping for $99 is more worth it over the GA camping pass for $60?

I'm getting to the stage in my life where I'd rather go see the thing I love regardless of whether or not I have a group of friends with me. Like I said, I'm not missing Foo on the Farm. Never seen Foo or Tame and the Farm is my favorite venue.

If you're a big fan this obviously makes sense, but if you're like me and just think they're one of those bands that you have to see, I wouldn't put too much emphasis on their set. I saw them once just assuming that it would be great and it was one of the most boring shows I've ever seen. If I actually end up at Bonnaroo this year I will 100% be skipping their set.

I've never seen Foo or Tame. Roo is the draw above any one individual band. I love that place. Definitely won't be skipping their set, but I always try to keep my expectations reasonable.

As with most Roo cards, the undercard excites me just as much if not more than the headliners.

Noted. Not much of an electronic fan, but I always try to catch a few sets and see if I find any new favorites.

Marcus King Band, Janell Monae, Incubus, Leon Bridges, & Brittany Howard are all can't miss sets for me. Incubus being the only one I've seen previously.

I've seen Janelle Monáe from that list. A few times. She's a fun show. Lots of dancing.

And I saw Brittany Howard as part of Alabama Shakes. Her voice still has all that fire in the live setting

Was able to get tickets for a Dinosaur Jr at one of my favorite smaller venues in Deep Ellum in September. Love getting to drink at a couple of my favorite bars down there and just walk over to the venue. Last time I did that was Trey Anastasio last January. Feels like it’s been so much longer than that though

We're a long way out and in reality we're strangers but give me a holler if you want to meet up at Roo this year. Grab a beer or show together.

    Sounds good to me man.

I'm leaning towards a solo-roo camping pass because it's a dedicated camping site and I can arrive any day. Also like the idea of hanging out with a bunch of other stags rather than being a loner in a sea of groops.

They have 2 studio albums and they are pretty quick listens.
Can't go wrong with Vagabond, All The Debts I Owe, or No Sleep.
