The only way I was able to download was through my phone using chrome, then unzip it using an app, then install on my micro sd. I then transferred it to my computer and external HD. It sounds like a lot but really it only took 2 minutes.

Hope that helps! It's been a weird and annoying process to (finally) download the accompanying mp3s for this release and then run into bizarre issues like the zip file hurdle; I feel like the mp3 download part of the experience has been executed pretty poorly, overall. Great mix on the vinyl, though. And some really excellent performances! This Typical is dope!

My expectations were low given the song selection and unusual avenue of release, but this is surprisingly good from start to finish. Typical is the highlight of course, but almost all of the tracks have something interesting going on that I haven’t heard before. Scott Hull really hit a home run on the mastering too. I’ll be going back to this one much more than expected.

Yeah I've never heard of a sealed record that comes with a unique download code you can access WITHOUT opening the record.

if you read the whole post and not just the bit that supports your agrument, i said i would pay ten bucks for the cd so i could listen, my question was if the download code was physically inside the record where i had to open it or if it was on the receipt. bought a vinyl on record store day and the download code was on the receipt so u didnt have to open the vinyl, and since my vinyl hasnt shown up yet, was just wondering. on top of the fact i dont have a record player, its more a collectible thing with me that i hang on my office walls cause i enjoy daves artwork. spreaking of which, got target to sell me the 25 outlaws game a couple days early. will give a review later, and yes hilly, i opened that to play but id love a high-res version of just the box cover to frame. dave did some cool work on those western gangs

and there have been plenty of people happy to share a digital copy for my ipod with me if i show a receipt and pic of my purchase for anything special to me that i would like to keep sealed, not all people are the same, and some people can appreciate how i feel about how i choose to handle my personal collection. to take it a step further, there are a couple people on this site who have enjoyed receiving an unopened physical copy of purchases i have made double or triple of, at under face value, just to show my appreciation for the help they have given me in my time of need.
On a side note, still got two unopened copies of recently ep on vinyl that will be sold under face value in the future to a fellow ant that needs one and understands and helps me

never considered myself a hero, once again, if i find enjoyment in framing and hanging unopened records in my office, how does it affect your life where u feel the need to make wise cracks. i do buy up copies of things if i see them cause i know there are hardcores out there who will eventually take them off my hands, and hooking up those people on the price when ive been helped in the past isnt heroic, its just a courtesy, returning favors. i havent gotten into buying a record player, im okay with playing the big whiskey cd on my ipod while being able to glare at the framed vinyl cause i think the cover art is cool. why it is how i choose to enjoy my music, spend my money, and collect and store my collectibles bothers you to the point where u feel the need to ridicule me on a website is beyond me. it affects your life how? The album artwork for Rhino's Choice (as well as Come Tomorrow) came from artist Béatrice Coron. She has an impressive collection of artwork out there.

To answer any above questions, yes the insert with the code is inside. It's like the vinyl liner notes etc that has the download code printed on it inside the vinyl.

thank you! guess i know what im doing tomorrow. tracking down a store with a vinyl i can open or a copy of the cd. and thx for the info on the cover art artist. guess i always just assumed, but i really dig the look of it

Wow, I'm kinda afraid to dip my toe into this argument but I too bought the vinyl and am kinda keen on keeping it as a collector's item. If anyone has a code they don't want to use, I'd love it. And I am happy to send pics of the LP I bought to prove I'm not just fishing for something I didn't buy. (Also, I moved and have nowhere to set up my turntable for awhile, so I'm trying to keep the few records I have purchased in pristine shape until I can play them...but I wanted this LP as it seemed like a pretty limited run. Thanks...
