Re: *** Official Chicago 2020 ***

Confirmed for 2 pits for Saturday, will most likely be looking to trade for Saturday seats only. Keep me in mind when seat confirmations come out.

I requested 2 pits for each nite. I got reserved seating for both nights instead. If anyone is intrested in possibly swapping if needed I am very interested.

Reserved for night 1, pit in night 2. Never been to a show in Chicago before. Anything I should know about the area/venue?

My bad, I should have read back in the thread. Looking for a hotel. Pretty basic, but thinking the Central Loop Hotel isn't toooo far away and not a complete dumpster fire like the Travel Lodge the guy was talking about on the last page.

The loop, River North, Greek Town is a little west but not bad either when I have been to town multiple times. The hotels did fill and got pricey quick. I ended up booking an AirBnb.

Sounds good. We should know the section and row in a week or 2 so we'll see how that shakes out.

Requested lower reserved both nights and got upper reserved both nights. Can't wait to spend the weekend in Chicago and see the band!!! Haven't missed a show yet on Northerly Island.

If you don't mind a longer commute, Hotel Zachary in Wrigley or The Robey (my favorite) in Wicker Park are way more fun Chicago hotels in neighborhoods outside the touristy Michigan Ave.

Hotel Zachard isn't touristy? I haven't been there yet but I feel like it is, no?

I am holding reservations at Best Western and Blackstone. I will cancel one. I can’t decide if Blackstone is worth the added cost. Both are near venue.

Anyone else staying at the Congress? We've stayed here for the Northerly shows a few times and the location is great for walking to the venue.

The Cubs aren't in town that weekend so Wrigleyville won't be too touristy that weekend. Michigan Ave./River North is just always overrun with tourists in the summer. It's a cool hotel and gets you out of that area.

I can't stand Wrigleyville, personally, but I grew up here and have lived in Chicago most of my life. Assuming you've been to Chicago in the summer and done the Grant Park/Millenium Park/Mag Mile stuff before, it's more fun to spend time in the neighborhoods than Michigan Ave./River North/The Loop.

Depends what you want from a hotel. The BW will be a bed and a shower. The Blackstone is a lot more luxurious and has a gorgeous hotel bar. Plus, I'm a Marriott guy so getting the nights/points matters to me, personally. Not sure if loyalty stuff matters to you.

I can't tell you how to spend your money or what your budget looks like, but I'd rather spend the money on a nicer place/experience, personally.

Thanks. Much appreciated. Looking forward to the 2 shows and visit to Chicago.

Actually in South Africa right now, and LN App isnít allowing me to get thru. If any Chicago folks have any Pit for N1 or N2 to spare, I could use 1-4 for each night. Worth a shot.

Logged on and didn't see much available. These shows will likely sell well again.

ISO several VIP tickets. I think they are only available for season ticket holders right now, but worth a shot.

I am completely amazed I was able to get pits for both nights on LN. I had to refresh the browser like a madman. I am very excited.

I'll be selling the other tickets I got through WH. PM me if intrested.
