Glad you finished it, and no surprise with many of your top episodes. And good call on Season 4. It's arguably the worst season of the show (although 6A would be mine) but also has two of the series' best episodes in 'Whoever Did This' and 'Whitecaps', both written by the same writers.

There was never a doubt in my mind that he did it. I just re-watched the scene though and I re-called him getting closer to admitting he did it then he actually did in the scene. I still think he did it but I guess now your post has cast a tiny bit of doubt. Ralph was such a piece of shit lol.

Joey Pants approached the scene like he didn’t do it.

I just finished watching Many Saints of Newark. It was decent

Kinda reminded me of El Camino or the Deadwood movie — a little too fanservice-y for my taste, a story that we didn't really need, but nice to be back in that universe again even for a few hours

Yeah, I didn't really need that

I thought there were some nice performances and it adds to our understanding of the world and of Tony, but Dickie Moltisanti is not the character I spent the past 15 years wondering about

If they do a sequel, I'd like to see Tony come up, like when they stick up the card game and all that.

Dickie says his wife can't get pregnant. So either they adopted, or it's the girlfriend's. I assumed it was the latter, but they don't explore that at all after the baby appears when he and her are fighting. You'd think it'd come up.

I certainly remember him saying his wife couldn’t get pregnant, but I just figured that when the kid showed up it was by some sort of miracle birth or one in a million chance. The fact it happened with ZERO implication leads me to believe it’s not the comare’s but you’re right, the thought crossed my mind, it just wasn’t explored like you said. Everything I’m reading online is still saying his mom is Joanne.

Zero implication and zero follow up.

I don’t think there’s any way that, IN THAT WORLD, Joanne is ok raising an illegitimate child with Dickie.

It was fine, but that’s about it. Fine. I’m as big a fan of this series as there is, so for me it was always more about spending more time with the characters than anything else. For those complaining about who it was about… it’s called the MANY SAINTS of Newark.

What did the person he was talking to (priest?) say when he mentioned that his wife couldn't get pregnant. Something about "the want..."
Maybe that was the implication for a miracle birth and I just missed it. Like, if you stop wanting it, maybe it'll happen. I can't remember the wording.

To be clear, I haven't watched the movie either but I feel a renewed sense of 'must watch' since it has come out. This winter, when the snow hits it will be my (first) binge watch for sure.
