Only on board if it means better record team hosts the game. Better record should trump division title. It's a slap in the face for a 10+ win wild card team to have to travel to a <9 win division winner.

Yea I get that, I more mean that the extra WC weekend games that you know they'll use as a big selling points of this new format will very likely not be super compelling games. It's purely financially driven. I get it, and it's not like I'm not gonna watch. I just think they have really nice schedule and playoff symmetry right now and the upcoming changes throw that off without much of a compelling argument from a football standpoint. Money talks, it is what it is. Like anything else we'll get used to it over time.

Adding a game and adding players is one thing, making the playoffs easier to reach on top of that is a bad mix. Wouldnt be surprised if you see more good players being rested more than 1 game going forward.

Really dont understand the leagues need to fix something that isnt broken here, unless this was all the players.
