Any veteran suggestions for standing room only tickets on the Monster? I have some tickets for September and am not sure how early I should get up there to get a good standing spot with friends. Anyone have a good plan/idea?

I probably wouldn't trade xb. Just because he plays SS.

I'm comfortable saying that I'm not interested in Stanton when you factor in what it would take to get him and his contract.

Devers, Benny, Mookie, etc are probably all in that trade discussion.

He would be the one I would be the most okay with getting rid of and already consider him gone at the end of his current contract anyway. I like him and understand he has been injured but he has been underwhelming relative to expectations for myself and most fans.

He had 192 hits last year. Won a silver slugger and was an all star. He had 196 hits the year before and won a silver slugger. He had 129 hits in 2014. His rookie year. How on earth is that "underwhelming"?

I will now give you guys and ask if you watch baseball?

Underwhelming in that coming into MLB everyone thought he was going to have Miguel Cabrera type power, which might not be a fair expectation but overall his power has been lacking.

He's been the best hitting SS in the AL the past two years. I can't consider him "underwhelming" because your expectations were unrealistic. He never hit over 20 homers in the minors. The 21 he hit last year seems about right to me that's what I would expect out of a healthy xb yearly.

He's pretty young. He can probably still have a slight power surge and hit 25 a year. I'm just not sure you move on from one of the best hitting Shortstops in baseball because he's not gonna win his 3rd silver slugger in a row. He's a great player that plays a position that's not easy at all to fill with somebody of his caliber. I'd say as of now he is probably a top priority to extend contract wise when the time comes. Still got two years to worry about that though.

Depends on the day of the week and opponent. I was up there on Tuesday night. Got in around 6:45 and there were a few spots. Time before that was a Saturday, and we were 2 people deep during batting practice. I'd say 6:15ish you should be good. Again though, depends on the who/when, and how big of a group. Bigger group, get there earlier if you want a post to lean on.

That game sure had a lot of twists and turns. The bullpen went from looking horrible, to Reed really coming through after the offense bailed everyone out.

Just need to win with Sale and go up 6 games.
