The problem is they've completely exhausted the show's concept. The writers have pretty much explored every type of moral quandary or conflict that can realistically happen in a zombie apocalypse. Basically everything from here on out will be a slightly shittier, or slightly better, permutation of something we've already seen. The only way they could make the show interesting again is to say "Fuck Kirkman's comic" and bring in a completely new writing staff and let them do whatever they want. Also, getting them back on the road and into a completely new setting would help; there's only so much you can do in the backwoods of Georgia.

seriously though I disagree with your point about the comic. I agree they need completely new writers, but they arent really following the comic at all. its really just a guide

- Zeke's speech at the beginning was the most laughable this entire season. He should be suspended immediately
- the chase scene was laughable
- If I was an assault rifle I'd ask for a raise with the amount of dialogue this season
- seriously, are the writers even getting paid to write scripts? It's nothing but shooting
- another epsidoe where the plot stays stagnant
- rip shiva I guess

its not even that it's dragging...it literally hasnt gone anywhere. It's been what, 3 or 4 episodes of the exact same battle.

Yeah they spent almost two episodes just firing endless rounds at cars and factory windows. I thought they needed to make bullets at one point? The war should have been last season, instead of watching Rick run around to find guns for 16 episodes. I'm assuming they will stretch this for the rest of the season, then hype up next with the crossover and whispers.

I turned on Sunday's episode and was like oh, they're still doing this.

re: Maggie's pregnancy, we have to remember that entire seasons of this show only take up a couple weeks of real time.

wasn't there something a while back that showed that from the time the prison went down to the time Rick and co get to Alexandria it's like 1 month, even though it was something like 2 or 3 seasons

What do people think the crossover will entail with the fear? I'd say it would have to be something to do with Madison becoming alpha, otherwise I don't see why it would be such a big deal.

Did anyone else notice the dialogue between Ezekiel and the savior right before the dude was cut in half. I'm sure it was intentional and alludes to what happens to him in the books.
