Great great episode Don (apparently) did a lot of growing up, and Betty did a little bit of growing up

Seriously though...exercise? A diary?? Not drinking in the morning?!? Not sleeping with that woman?!?!?!?!? WTF??

Really a fantastic episode though, as usual

Really enjoying the stylistic shifts from episode to episode this season. Potentially could be the best season yet.

I think the great thing about the show is just all the LITTLE moments throughout each episode that just really stick with you, like for example:

    The competition in the pool
Crane's signed picture of Buddy Ebsen in his office
Don's introspective opening scene on the street
Don's flirtation with literature and writing finally taking form
    Ash trays in the stalls
Don pausing a moment before trashing his stuff
    BJ in the taxi
"and some slob who's about to have the worst dinner of his life"

This really is the best goddamn show on TV right now.

mad men is completely the opposite of entourage, and i love both shows. entourage is all about glitz and glamour and pretty things, mad men is a character driven period piece. character arcs are not important at all in show like entourage, which is why they are basically non existant.

Yes, but they try to do them...

Like Vince, he somehow went from doing Coke once at a part to 3 episodes later buying a pound, lol...

They could have at least made it more believable.

Sorry, back to the regular programming...

This show shits all over Entourage in literally every way possible, and I've seen every episode of both shows.

well, if you were a millionaire like vince and tried coke and liked it as much as he did, i dont find it hard to believe he would just go buy a pound.

but yeah lets stop talking about a pretty good show in the greatest show on tv's thread

sunday's episode was brilliant. this season might end up being the best.

i really cant stand henry. not sure why exactly but i just really dont like him. does anyone else see potential for don and betty getting back together? clearly betty is not over him at all and the way she was looking at don at the end of the episode really makes me wonder. it would be pretty stupid of her but idk it just seems like there is potential there.

also, joan has really been a huge bitch this season. she had a bit of a point when she went off on peggy but peggy usually has joan's back. she really had no reason to be such a cunt

Just watched the first six episodes from season one. Absolutely fantastic. I love pretty much everything about this show thus far. The red head is just gorgeous. The fact that "Roger" is banging her makes me all kinds of happy.
