I got through the months of June and July on my Summer 2000 revisit and feel that I enjoyed 6.29 the most. Given all the equipment that was on hand for 6.30 perhaps a release could happen one day. That said, we have four releases from Summer 2000 so I might not mind a Winter 2000 release... looks like I just stumbled on my next revisit.

Those Allstate shows in December would be nice...

This needs to happen. It's crazy at this point that - as good as the tapes are now - I'm still listening to my shows with women screaming "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaave" into the mic four feet away. Also soundboards are better than tapes. There's no debating that. Hopefully for 2022. I feel like they're steadily using these sirius streams to build up a catalogue so that when they do launch something like this they have 60 LTs, all the DMB lives, some various sirius shows (spac 04, alpine 03, etc) and then likely all the 2018 - current shows

My thing is - they master specific sings for random releases, WH albums, etc. so, they surely master the entire show, not just the song right? Seems crazy not to.

Jake and Matt have said they’ll never do a live app but I just find that lazy and crazy on managements part . Seems like ways money. I’d pay 10-15 a month to have their entire catalogue a la phish.

FWIW, Martin's profile was last active last night according to his profile page. His ban might be temporary so he might return before we know it.

Do I want both ‘21 SPAC nights as a LT? I think yes. Nearly every new song I want was played, and most of the tour’s highlights were played as well.

What do the Sirius broadcasts have to do with them building a catalog of soundboard recordings?

    I don’t think I’m following you here.

It’s obvious management knows we all want this and they just don’t care to implement it.

If anything, 2021 was the year to start. Everyone is excited to be back, start releasing every show a la Phish, and work your way back with the catalogue as you find time. Jesus. Just ask phish who they use.

I would love having soundboard recordings of all my shows this year.

Pure laziness on Dave and everyone else’s part.

I like the professional mixed LT/Live In/At…model myself. DMB is not a band that changes it up enough night to night, as all the complaints reveal. They’re just not Phish despite you wanting LivePhish. As unpopular as all I just said will come across in here.

    I see both points.
The real question is: would they make money out of it? I don’t know the numbers of LivePhish (how many subscribers, how much it cost), but apparently it is a good business for Red Light management.
Keep in mind that it is the same people that manage DMB and Phish. I remember when I did some research about that:
    https://antsmarching.org/forum/showt...8#post17969718

So, i cannot think that it is a matter of being lazy, and neither because DMB repertory is not changing continuously as Phish’s one.
I prefer to imagine that they evaluated the possibility to do something similar (and they do have every show filmed, recorded and archived on Charlottesville!) and abandoned the idea because of the little profit that they could make out of it, due to the constant narrowing of the fanbase (and this is sadly true).

Yes, they do. Check it here: https://www.tvtechnology.com/be-blogs/1014:

I wonder how an apparently fragile personality like him is reacting at being banned from what might be his second life. I imagine it might have been quite frustrating. I hope for him he’s found other interests, better if in the real world.

Honestly (since they're playing it tonight) Jones Beach has some awesome shows with tons of cool guests:

and with 19 release the rain out the night before as a bonus disc

That first night was weird though not only because of the rain, but because Jeff left the stage sick halfway thru and didn't play on everything after Rooftop.

Those shows were solid, enjoying Cleveland now. Boyd's playing is significantly improved over the summer tour. It's nice to hear just the core 5 playing though I am looking forward to the shows from the Garden.

One reason I gravitate toward arena shows getting an official release is that the taper pulls can often be a bit boomy, which obviously isn't an issue at the sheds.

Gonna do the same thing i did yesterday. Check out release worthy Holmdel shows

    http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...3055029&tid=28
    http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...3054966&tid=25 - Bela
    http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...057091&tid=120 - need more 2013
    http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...060219&tid=128
    http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...71418&tid=5154 - Dave and Tim 17

But honestly it's crazy to see how well recent tours are aging for me. the 16 and 18 shows are good too. Even the 14 show is a good listen. Had that on a lot right after it happened. You never know during a given tour which songs will completely go away the next year

3.14.91, 11.21.98, Caravan box set, D&T Mexico box set (2019 preferably)

These would be some of my first purchases if they opened the vault.

01.16.04, would probably wow the rest of the band that isn't Dave and Tim as well.

No one in the know tells us D&F is on the table as possible releases.

Which is exactly why I said it

I personally don't think I'd be wow'd by anything as I just want a solid show. Listening to the winter 2000 tour really has me enjoying the core 5 again, the uptick in energy for MSG is also pretty apparent and it shows in the performances.

The RSO shows are off the table too, maybe unless the band and the RSO comes to an agreement of donating most of the proceeds to charity of RSO's choice or something like that.

10.07.08 (Hollywood Bowl with John Mayer and Stephen and Ziggy Marley) would probably get a lot of attention, although I'd rather get the shows you mentioned.
