I guess I will do Dolby Cinema instead and I get annoyed by the projector for that in my theater....will catch it later I guess in IMAX on a Tuesday cheap night.

Did you check all showtimes? All the IMAX screens near me typically do one 2D showing daily if they are otherwise showing the 3D version.
I'm torn, I saw VII in true 1.43:1 IMAX with Laser and happened to see the 3D screening (didn't know at the time there was an option) and I was absolutely blown away by 98% of the 3D, couldn't believe how crystal clear and super bright it was which typically hasn't been my experience with 3D. I've found outside of very minor instances of ghosting in peripheral action, the 3D post-conversion has come a looooooooooooooooooong way since the horrid Phantom Menace 3D conversion, so I'll probably choose whichever screening I can get the best seat in. for full AR IMAX I like 2nd or 3rd to back row and dead centre, but with only 11 rows altogether the back row is just fine too.
Wish I had a Dolby Cinema closer for all non-1.43:1 films, we don't have any in Canada. Outside of the IMAX with Laser in Toronto, every cinema that shows major motion pictures is 2K bulb projection, shitty black levels, no fine detail, no higher bit color, bah!
Closest US city is Buffalo and of course they don't have a Dolby Cinema yet, in spite of 127 locations in the US now.
