Not to sound too dramatic, but the game against the Islanders is about as much of a must win as the Rangers can have during this regular season. A loss to the Islanders on Saturday would likely cost them the division and drop them to second in the Met with a direct match-up against the Islanders who would have just beat them twice in the last week of the season. That to me is for sure a recipe of a first round out for the NY Rangers.

As the season has wound down here, all the criticisms people had of the Rangers seem to be on full display. They can't score 5v5, they don't start games on time and have to make comebacks every night and their bottom six forwards are ghosts. In addition, the pairing of Trouba and Miller has been straight bad.

These last two games against the Islanders and Senators will do a lot to either ease the minds of Rangers fans and the team or have most of us hitting the panic button and preparing for a real chance of another first round disappointment.

Rough for the Yotes, but I think we all saw this coming for a decade now. Glad it is resolved to be honest.

In other news, I’ll say it again, I’m 100% convinced today’s game is a must win for the Rangers. If they lose, I will be betting against them in the first round and truly believe they will easily be knocked out in round 1 by the Islanders. They cannot lose today.

Ok, I'll probably do that. And I just remembered too, this prize package I won starts with a tour of MSG, and then a $200 team store shopping spree. So I think I'll see how it feels during the tour, and then get a Rangers jacket or hoodie at the store.

I sweatshirt will be fine. I go in just a jersey and I’m always fine. I don’t know MSG, but there’s spots at Staples that the air blows right on you so it’s a lot colder. My MIL brings gloves, jackets and a blanket

You will be fine in a light jacket or sweatshirt at MSG. Even a long sleeve shirt under the jersey would do it.

Yep. Long/short sleeve t-shirt under a jersey. Or a short sleeve t-shirt with hoodie. Best ways to go. Because either way you can remove one article if necessary.

Just left the Rangers game. Unforgettable experience. Awesome tour of MSG, met Stéphane Matteau, and watched them shutout the Senators to win the Presidents' Trophy. Very cool night.

Yes I was. I got worried because when we went near the ice on the tour, it was freezing. But when we went up to our seats, there was a big jump in temperature.

I got an Adam Fox jersey with the $200 vouchers we got and wore it over a sweatshirt and another shirt underneath. The energy at hockey games is something else. The floor was literally bouncing.
