    I believe the pollstar era is 1982 to present. Hence why this is coming out as a 40 year anniversary.

    Dylan's biggest issue is that he hasn't played venues of more than a few thousand for 25 years. He's been essentially a theater act since the 80s/90s.

    So Dylan needs to play perhaps a half dozen shows to equal the crowd of, say, one Jimmy Buffet show.

    And most of the bands towards the top of this list at some point have played stadiums (40 or 50k+), even if for a brief period of time. That knocks off huge chunks, whereas Dylan has been going inch by inch for decades.
