DMB Download Issues in Store

Hi everyone. Is anyone experiencing download issues at the DMB store? I recently purchased LT 50 in Flac over at Musictoday and couldn’t download. I spoke with customer service who wound up refunding me as they couldn’t fix it. They did say there were lots of download issues on DMB downloads.

Before I move forward and purchase another download, can anyone confirm similar or ongoing issues? Thanks.

99% of the time there are issues.
I tend to have better luck via the zip but others do with DL manager ???

Would not be surprised if this issue accounts for more threads than anything else on this site.

I do not know how it continues. Oftentimes once it fails and you retry it'll work again. But I can't guarantee that yours will.

I recently discovered that track 17 of the DMB 25 album download was not complete (Big Eyed Fish > Granny) when I downloaded the album. The Musictoday people told me that they reset the download but — I was later told — because my purchase was made a few months ago it didn’t actually reset. I’m dealing with them now about that. I got a DMB Live download on 6/11/2020 that worked fine. The advice they sent me with getting downloads was to clear history and cookies and temporarily allow pop-ups, which I’m sure you’ve done. Definitely try with the zip.

An update on my issue: I downloaded DMB 25 in flac format awhile back. The "Big Eyed Fish > Granny" track 17 cuts off the end of the song. Has this happened to anyone else? Musictoday is telling me that because it's an older download they won't help me. I just noticed the problem. It would be good to know if this has happened to others. To download the "album only" track for another $40 just to get what I originally paid for is so upsetting to me since I collect and listen to so much of DMB's music. Anyone deal with Musictoday about something like this? Any thoughts?

DMB Live 25 was a headache to download purely because of the sheer size of the 24/96 FLAC files. Keep calling Musictoday is all I can offer you, use the ZIP file. They want you to be a happy customer.

If you’re on a Mac, click the zip option, then WAIT for like 5 seconds. Don’t click anything while waiting. It should then start to download without any issues.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I was never able to get help from customer service. My purchase was from too long ago I guess. I thought maybe other people experienced the same issue but I'm glad if they haven't. I have to check my files next time :P
