Re: The NBA Thread

Clippers with the worst loss of the year, what on earth 26 points in the second half. good defense by New Orleans i guess. Kira Lewis with the best game i’ve ever seen him play

this Lakers defense lmao

Milwaukee still finding their groove obviously but Oklahoma City played them really well. super entertaining game

speaking of entertaining, Chicago with like 40 dunks tonight against Denver, wtf. just love how they’re playing tonight though, run, push it down your throat, get to the line or get right to the basket

Charlotte with the most impressive week, especially on the defensive end. Martin/Oubre/McDaniels really solid defensively. Plumlee not bad but they will be even better when Washington is healthy again. and obviously Ball/Hayward/Bridges/Rozier remaining solid offensively. not bad tbh. beat New York, Golden State, Washington, and for the most part pulverized a decent Indiana team (albeit a terrible 4th q)

tons of cupcakes in this streak but Phoenix quietly banking a crap ton of wins. i don’t love how they’ve been playing with Ayton on the floor but i mean...they are steadily cruising even on bad days

Washington stood eye to eye with Miami defensively, and they had more offensive weapons to pull off a comeback. cautiously optimistic the Wizards are legit

chalk for the most part. first half of Memphis game was brutal, they are just poop right now

magic ran out for Charlotte, and Atlanta seems to be back

LeBron is one of the biggest dickbags in all of sports.

Backhand punches a dude in the face for getting boxed out hard and then tries to act apologetic when he sees the dude is hurt and wanting to fight him.

Hope Stewart just blindsides him next game. Fuck LeBron.

the video is on ESPN right now. I don't know if Lebron accidentally hit the guy in the face by swinging his elbow with a "get off of me" type of motion or meant to hit the guy. Did the guy actually run through the locker room and come out on the other side? He was mad.

haven’t finished the game yet but Chicago/New York coaches outsmarting themselves lol super interesting game

Caruso starts off on Randle and of course he eats them up. they try other small defenders and nope, now with slower defenders (like Jones who is probably their best option guarding him) Walker is putting them in pnr which the Knicks run to perfection. i suppose not too much Donovan can do here but i say just bait him into doubles

then New York does a good job most of the game keeping Barrett with Lavine and making others score. mostly good single coverage on everyone and switching only when it makes sense. inexplicably they start trapping Derozan as the ball handler ummm he’s a really good creator and finding open people. really frustrating

I root for him because he's on the Lakers, but I really don't like him. He has to be one of the most unlikable athletes out there.

Fred & Lee starting to pull away as the middle gets more compressed in the fantasy league. My team is finally getting healthy and pulling itself together.

If anyone is short on mid tier to upper echelon guards and has too many F/C, lemme know. I'm open to trades, no one is off the table for the right fit.

Just made my first move too - I am just really good at drafting. Set my lineup too for the first time in a few weeks.

I think LeBron meant to hit him, I don’t think he meant to hit him in the face or bust him open like that. Stewart was down dirty on his ribs and side for a bit, and that was to get him to fuck off. Just went very wrong. Deserved flagrant 2 and 1 game suspension.

I am out on the daily lineups. I do not have the time to check it and set it every day to stuff games.

I have heard that category scoring takes some more careful planning in terms of drafting. Never played that before.

catching up on last night, Memphis offense with their weekly appearance! such a confusing team

    Charlotte/Washington was sooooo good lol

Minnesota crushing net rating the last week. i always believed in them, their schedule was too hard for a team finding itself maybe. idk but they look awesome this week

speaking of weird Indiana didn’t take it easy on Chicago b2b but sheesh that was a shooting luck bonanza
