LSU. At Notre Dame you don't run the school like at other big time programs. There's a little more politics because of how religious the school is and what not. Not to mention the academic standards at Notre Dame are a bit more rigorous than other P5 schools.
What Notre Dame has going for them is the schedule year in and year out easpecially this year with Southern Cal being down. LSU is in the toughest division in the country while ND sometimes will dodge the best teams in the ACC. They never have an easy schedule with Stanford and MSU, but I'd rather have their schedule.
ND and Southern Cal are becoming pre-historic unless something changes. Both are headed for the cellar this season. Brian Kelly can coach, but hiring BVG was a head scratcher. I believe he would do just fine at LSU or anywhere else.
