I checked on CVS, and I'm sure it's based on honor system, but their website says Moderna only for immunocompromised, not for 65+, not high-risk individuals.

Shot 3 was the worst out of the bunch. 24 hours of being in bed. Woke up the next morning like nothing ever happened.

Muskie is correct.

Novavax is a hot mess and can't get their product to the FDA so I dropped out and got Pfizer. Technically I had 4 shots with Novavax but 2 were placebo.

I'm on the fence if I'll get a booster any time soon. Maybe not until next year. Seems I'm already ahead of the curve.

First 2 shots, no side effects. After the booster, I feel very tired and a little fatigued. Just took an hour nap on the floor because I was too tired to go to my bed lol.

Has anyone ever donated plasma before? There's a place here in town doing a $1200 promo for 8 rounds of donations. A coworker is doing it and she said it's no big deal, just like giving blood. They pay you per visit.

I've been told that hydration and no booze is key. You can do up to two visits per week. I figure why not. Pay off one of my CC's with that.

also, lamar jackson has apparently gotten vaccinated, per reliable people on twitter, despite claims he was not. so who knows, but bravo for lebron for being transparent

Sorry, not my own cream/sugar, but allow me to put cream/sugar in my coffee myself. The Starbucks I frequent do not have cream/sugar out for customers to use themselves. The employees do it, and never get it quite right.

I did in college.

I had a terrible experience.
So the first 2 or 3 visits were fine. It’s like donating blood, it just takes longer.

Then, the next visit, I’m hanging out. The machine is doing it’s thing.
I look down at my arm and my vein was like the size of … I can’t even think of a good example. It was so swollen.
Called someone over. Apparently, the needle wasn’t in right, so the blood was pooling in one spot. She took the needle out and handed me a wet paper towel and said if I wanted the $, they’d have to collect from the other arm.
I said I was good and left.

I had a bruise from my elbow to my wrist.
Decided maybe I should aim to find a legitimate job for beer money and had an interview @ the mall that week. It was hot out, but I remembering wearing long sleeves so they couldn’t see my arm.

I never had an issue - but I donated in college as well - had one professor that really believed in it and offered bonus points to donate plasma - took like an hour and a half - watched a movie, went home. Worst part was, the Central Blood Bank just called incessantly after that - relentless.
