I set my own schedule and alone accomplish those goals when I'm alone, but when my roommate is here I get distracted even when I'm not really doing anything.

I just can't work unless I'm alone. Kind of an OCD thing.

Laura, what apps I you use on your iPad for note taking?

i use goodnotes a lot. my professors usually email us the PP ahead of time, and with the app i can add in text and draw in stuff. or i could just type on a blank page (which is actually faster for me than hand writing). i also like the way the app is organized, i can have different folders for different classes.

some people record lectures. i'm not motivated enough to do that but it's a good idea

Do you have a seperate keyboard? I am a slow Tyler on the iPad and light years faster on a computer.
Recording lectures is dumb in my opinion. You have to hear it twice then and still end up taking notes on it.
