Yeah, I'm needing to know when DMB and the Avetts are playing and where before I can commit to the Crowes. That said, I've never seen the Crowes, but I'm a fan.

Local gig is Jiffy Lube, which is never ideal...

    Plan right now is:

3/30 - Rage Against the Machine - Phoenix
    9/4-9/6 - DMB - Gorge

Of other shows announced so far, may add Cold War Kids on 1/18 and Green Day/Weezer 7/17, both in Seattle.

I'm going to see them one night in Nashville but I'm kinda regretting buying a ticket now that the members got released. It's the Robinson brothers plus some hired hands. At least the last version had original drummer Steve Gorman and Luther Dickinson.

They've also said there won't be any jamming, that it's basically going to be a greatest hits show. Apparently they think that's what the fans want. They went from an aged jamband to a nostalgia act real fast.

The whole thing reeks of doing it for the payday.

Aren't they playing the first album in it's entirety? That's kind of cool if you're into them I guess.

So Coldplay is scheduled to tour this summer? My wife and I were wondering. Unfortunately we have no interest in seeing them at a stadium, which is whow they did their last tour.

pure speculation with the album drop in November. I am guessing they do but not sure. I can see them playing Fenway actually if there isn't a full tour.

They are and it is but Chris also said they're playing the songs straightforward with no jamming. Literally the same show every night for 46 dates.

I gotta say... if I were going to see a band that's going to play an album, I think I'd want it 'straightforward with no jamming'.

What does everyone think about this Black Crowes tour? Feels like a giant money grab, and Chris seems like one of the douchiest front men in music history, dont think Ill be able to bring myself to pay for a ticket. If they even last through the tour, im sure theyll be burned out playing the same show well before the half way point.

I bought a ticket a regret it. I'd sell it if I thought I could get my money back. They used to be my favorite band until I started realizing how big of an ass Chris is. This tour is nothing but a money grab. Their Rolling Stone interview is nothing but PR talking points.

Watched some clips on youtube of their show at the bowery a few days ago and was not impressed with what I heard.

This isnt the black crowes when you ditch 3/5 of the band. The venue size on this tour makes no sense either. In '13 they were playing small theaters as the actual band, now its amphitheaters? Theyll be half empty at most stops.

Chris is such a shit head and hypocrite. He's still bitter that Weir chose Mayer to play with D&Co over him.

Hes a money grubbing dude that clearly puts that in front of the music.

He's also been on record chastising Grateful Dead cover bands.. then goes out and covers their songs himself and plays/takes money from festivals that are based around the dead.

That's lame, had no idea he had a bad reputation or where they were as a band currently
