John Mayer’s new album has a limited edition purple swirl vinyl for pre order starting at 9am PT on Wednesday. I’m probably gonna snag that one. It looks like one other color variant to come, but I’m down with purple. The first one was pink, so guessing it won’t be too different than purple and pink

Anyone have any info on the July extended release of the Almost Famous soundtrack? There has to be some sort of smaller bundle coming available? Sop much crap from Stillwater that I don’t need on 8 or 9 discs or whatever it is.

Got my Dead RSD, too, with a giant seam split across maybe 1/2 of the top of the box. It's going right back. I was fortunate to find one on Discogs for $50 cheaper than the one I'm sending back.

If the color isn’t a factor, the black pressing is dropping this week. And, it’s less expensive

Is it a 2LP black pressing, or just a restock of the old 1LP?

The latter, from what I’ve heard, does not sound great.

Not sure if anyone else here got the PJ Vault #10 (Moline No Code show) release, but I am about to say something I've never said about a PJ vinyl release...

...it sounds spectacular! They finally did a vinyl mastering right. Absolute pleasure to listen to and of course an amazing show.

Really great to hear! I got it but haven't had a chance to spin yet. They nailed the packaging so great to hear they brougt it all home.

Did anyone's store get the Foo Fighters release? My store got none. They didn't even seem aware of it. There was something like 13,000 pressed but it's going for $80+ on Discogs.
