Did they just throw a dart at printed out DMB almanac pages to select this show?

Interesting. Not sure we really need much more from 2007 but I'll take it I guess. WPB 07 was a good enough LT release for that year.

I'll check out the audience recording and see how it is. https://antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=339168

Usually swallow most Live Trax decisions but this one is pretty grim. Bayou, Hunger for the great light, cornbread? Shotgun is the only real highlight but we already have a few now. They really ought to pay someone to look in the Next Live Trax thread or look at the almanac in more detail. Such a random choice.

Pretty much what must have happened. 07 is such a "meh" year for DMB as well. Not much to write home about. Mean while, early 2000's are still withering away un-released.

Here's are their selling points I guess..

In Summer 2007, DMB hit the road again with new touring member, Rashawn Ross on trumpet and Butch Taylor on keyboards. The band’s live catalogue had grown to include tracks from "Stand Up", as well as material from recent studio writing sessions in Charlottesville, VA. New unreleased compositions of "Corn Bread" and "#27" were also in the mix. "Sweet Up and Down" makes a comeback, adding to the band’s list of “road only” jams.

I would’ve preferred Burgettstown N2 from 2006, but this is fine.

But if they had to pick a 2007 show, this would’ve been better, and one I attended lol

I was at this show, and it was very unremarkable. Yeah, Sweet Up and Down was cool. Shotgun was nice. And I did enjoy the ABI into Watchtower. For a split second, I saw the “10” and thought this was 6.10.2006, which would have been much better. Ah well.

I will be purchasing this, but because there’s no pre-order incentive included, I could be ordering this after it becomes available for out-right purchase and shipping that same day.

Anyone else find it interesting that they push a show with SUAD after the band liberates it AND we have active rumors of a b sides album?

    Hmmmm.

Though 2007 is a bit underrated, kinda weird that this is now the 7th show from this year that we've gotten. Would rather have something from '08 (SPAC N2?) or the Alpine 2012 weekend... would've been a nice treat for them skipping Alpine this year.
