I love Tim's playing at the beginning of it, Dave's vocals couldn't be more on point and had a slightly different ending than other versions, it's probably my favorite D&T version. When you say every D&T DDTW is the same that isn't really accurate at all, there have been different song intros throughout the years whether it be something like The Bell (RC '03) or Still Water or in this case Tim playing more, also when and where Dave chooses to belt or sing falsetto and overall intensity.

I was at that 2010 show. A lot of BW, but great performances. An excellent LIOG -> a full Blue Water, plus an IBYU and double encore. Also the impromptu Seven [partial] was funny as hell to watch unfold.

Generally, year, but the outro was extended for that show in '10. Great emotion, it's a favorite performance of that song for me.

Since LT40 was released, there is ONE 2018 show in there. 5 of the last 6 full band shows all have Boyd. I also know for a fact they're not ignoring Boyd releases and that Cscottrun was 100% joking.

You can dismiss what I'm saying, that's fine, but Boyd isn't a factor in choosing releases. LT50 should clear that up.

Why would management care about Boyd's predicament in choosing any future release with him in it? The case was settled out of court anyway. I don't think anyone cares that a small portion of their purchase could be going to Boyd's royalties (I don't know if that's true or not either), as long as we continue to get LTs from the band's golden years.

I hope it’s like LT 6 Fenway where they release both nights at a cool venue. And I’d love to know if they have the copyrights or whatever to release the Woodstock set. That show is a favorite of mine

That would be gnarly if they chose a full weekend from 2018-2019 at a venue and released both audio and video.....reason I say 2018-2019 is have to imagine as some have said that they stick to the current band. If you look at releases in the past year since buddy joined, you’ve got 3 full shows from the current band (LT 46, the warehouse warmup, and Charlottesville). Have to imagine with this being the big 50th live trax that they’d use it as an opportunity to highlight the current band....

It's been hinted at by people in the know that LT 50 will be a show with Boyd.

So, my guess is either MSG 12/3/98 or 12/7/98 (N1 of Worcester, MA 2 night stand; LT 1 was N2).

Again, why would management go out of their way to stiff Boyd out of any possible royalties. The case is settled and most people don’t care what actually went down between the two parties.

A tape for this show has never surfaced. I was there though and thought his voice sounded fantastic. I watched a few videos on youtube and he sounded great on those as well.

I think it is great that they are doing the Friday Night concert series for the past two years. Maybe that, in combination with the Rhino's Choice formed my opinion.

But that's not true. Only 45 & 47 have had Boyd, and I'm pretty sure LT45 was already in the mixing process when Boyd got the boot, so they weren't going to not release it at that point. LT46 doesn't have Boyd and now here's 2 more that don't... If LT50 is a show with Boyd, then that would make it an even 50/50 split, which is about what I would expect going forward from here.

There have been 5 LTs released since his departure, 3 full band and now 2 D&T. Boyd was featured on the majority of the full band shows released. They're not releasing D&T shows to avoid Boyd, people want multi-tracked D&T shows as well.

Again, Boyd is NOT a determining factor on what gets released.

There's only been 3 LTs released since Boyds departure. As you've stated, 3 of them had Boyd. That's the majority.

I’ll take a CMAC show any day of the week!
From 2016 on they have had some great shows there.
‘16 Stone opener and LiOG , Ben the Sax guy in ‘18 for 41/Billies and I got a set list.
‘17 had Halloween/Twostep which I wasn’t expecting.
Looking back, since ‘16 they’ve played 4 of my top 5 at each show.
Always a great time.
